The best K-bbq we’ve been so far.
Food: Fresh & tasty. We like the rib meat & the ramen. For 2 ppl, we should have 1 meat & 1 ramen or 2 meats.
Service: gentle & nice. They would advise you how many meat we should eat.
Smoke was everywhere since the space is quite small.

Loved this Korean BBQ spot! The cold noodles were refreshing, the beef bone broth hot pot was rich and comforting, and the meats — fatty beef rolls, pork belly, and marinated short ribs — were all tender and flavorful. Great portions, quality ingredients, and friendly service. Will definitely be back!

Some of the BEST Korean food I ever had!!! Got Bulgogi lunch set with ssam (lettuce wraps) and soy bean paste soup. Meat was tender and super flavorful, which was balanced nicely by a variety of fresh Korean perilla/napa cabbage/lush green lettuce that comes when you order ssam. The plentiful banchan (side dishes) the lunch set came with were fantastic in taste & presentation! My favorite banchan was the refreshing sweet, spicy tomato one which I think also had some nice vinegar in the base to round out the flavor profile. Their take on myeolchi bokkeum (stir fried anchovies) banchan was also quite fun with the addition of walnuts! Their kimchi fried rice was delicious as well: their choice and acidity of the kimchee paired so well with the gochujang and socarrat from the hot stone dish it was presented in. We also loved their seafood & green onion pancake!!! Best I ever had that I can recall – crispy on the outside with a nice mochi-cake like texture inside + super generous amounts of tender octopus and aromatic green onions. Last but not least, great hospitality from their staff: the aunty hosting lunch kindly came over to double check if we had any allergies before we ordered + our server was very gracious and accommodating in kindly explaining their menu (sometimes my eyes are bigger than my stomach when I’m faced with too many options for good food) (FYI: there was no wait ~ 11:15 am on a Thursday when we came here.)

As a KBBQ lover, this spot completely won me over! The beautifully marbled meats were so tender and packed with flavor, but the real star of the meal was the marinated crab. It was rich, savory, and absolutely worth braving traffic to get here.
The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, keeping our grill in perfect shape and making the whole experience even better with their warm hospitality.
And the side dishes were absolutely incredible! I’ve never seen them presented like this before, and every single one was so delicious that I couldn’t leave without grabbing a take-out box to enjoy them at home. This place truly delivers on all fronts!

Korean BBQ places tend to be high in number, but I’d suggest Yellow Cow is in the top tier in Gardena. Have been coming here over 10 years and it’s been consistent.
Not an AYCE place so it’s a bit more expensive, but cuts are high quality, sides are fantastic and plentiful. Service efficient and friendly. Highly recommended.

The atmosphere of the store is a pleasant atmosphere where I want to spend time with my family and friends. I went to eat with 8 or 9 friends. It was a hygienically clean restaurant. It was more than the side dishes as well as the main dishes, and each dish seemed to be well-trodden. It’s the best barbecue I’ve had in recent years. It’s a popular place, so I have to make a reservation in advance. My recommendation is meat, but especially, raw beef, beef brisket, ribs, and waitress are very kind. They always asked me what I needed. I want to go to Dam and have a cup of makgeolli with the hot pot and seafood pancake I had that day.

Combo section is NOT all you can eat. Overpriced in my opinion. I got the two person combo which came with two meats, some sides, two sodas, and rice (everything in the picture is about 95% of what we received) and that all cost $130 (with taxes minus tip). The meat portion was good but still crazy because it’s not all you can eat. Service and atmosphere were good; waitress was nice and attentive. Quality of the food was good but nothing special.

Yellow Cow has been in business for over 20 years but you wouldn’t know it by looking at the place. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. Also, let me give you a tip about food service businesses: if you want to see how cleanly a business operates go and check their restrooms. Funny but true. Yellow Cow has CLEAN restrooms. On to their food… their side dishes are fresh made daily and they also vary the side dish menu with new, thoughtfully prepared ones. They always impress. Their meat quality is the best I’ve had. This isn’t all you can eat BBQ. If you are expecting quantity over quality this isn’t the place for you. The service is friendly and attentive. Quality of taste and meat-wise, this is one of the best Korean BBQ restaurants in SoCal.

LETS TALK ABOUT IT…..
SO SO DISGUSTED WITH THE BLAINANT RACESISM. MY FAMILY JUST ENCOUNTERED MY MOM HER FRIEND VISITING FROM JAPAN AND MY 3 KIDS BIRACAL/ BLACK EAT AT THE RESTAURANT TODAY AT 4 PM . HAD A RESERVATION FOR 4PM THAT WAS MADE 3 OR 4 DAYS AGO. WHEN WE ARRIVED THE ENTIRE STAFF SAW US LET ME STATE THIS AGAIN THE ENTIRE STAFF SAW US. THEN THE OLDER KOREAN GENTLEMAN THERE WITH GLASSES ASK ME IF WE HAD A RESERVATION AND I TOLD HIM WE DO 4PM
THE TIME WE ARRIVED WAS 357PM
WE WERE SEATED AT 410
NOW HERES WHERE THINGS GET REAL INTRESTING. NOT THAT MANY PEOPLE WERE AT THE RESTAURANT IT WAS ABOUT 3 OTHER PARTIES SEATED BETWEEN 2-4 PEOPLE AT THE OTHER TABLES. ME AND MY FAMILY SAT THERE FOR ALMOST CLOSE TO 20 MINS. AS ALL OF THE WAITERS 1 MAN AND 4 WAITRESS WALKED PASSED OUT TABLE SERVING ONLY THE OTHER TABLES THERE. IT WAS SO AKWARD THAT THE COUPLE SAT ACROSS FROM US NOTICING LIKE EVERY ONE ELSE THAT WE WERE CLEARLY NOT BEING SERVED. AGAIN THE RESTURANY WAS BUSY. SO.MUCH SO AS THE WAITERS AMD WAITRESS AROUND US WERE CLEANING TABLES ALREADY CLEAN AND SETTING UP TABLES UNNECESSARILY DELIBERATELY AVOIDING OUT TABLE. MY DAUGHTER WHO.WAS SITTTING CLOSEST TO.THAT ABLE OVER HEARD THE COUPLE TALKING ABOUT US.NOT BEING SERVED AS MY DAUGHTER TOLD ME.WHAT THE.OTHER TABLE WAS SAYING AND I HAD TO AKWARDLY EXPLAIN THAT THERE BUSY EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE.NOT.
MY 11 YR OLD DAUGHTER WAS UNCOMFORTABLE . IT QUITE SAD BECAUSE WHEN WE USUALLY COME ITS A LOT OF PEOPLE BUT THIS TIME WAS OUR.FIRST TIME.COMING WHEN IT WAS ALOT LESS PEOPLE THERE AND WE WERE THE ONLY TABLE THAT WAS TREATED THIS WAY. EVEN AFTER THEY DECIDED RHEY WANTED TO FINALLY TAKE.OUR.ORDER.
EVEN AFTER WE ORDERED WE WERE STILL TREATED IN THIS MANNER.
IM BIRACIAL MY MOM IS JAPANESE AND MY FATHER IS BLACK AND MY CHILDREN ARE.BLACK AND WE WERE THE ONLY TABLE TREATED THIS WAY. THEY HAVE CAMERAS IN THE REATURANT AND I CHALLENGE THEM TO POST THE FOOTAGE FROM TODAY WHEN ME AND MY FAMILY WAS THERE. WE CAME TO ENJOY KOREAN BBQ AND PATRONIZER, BUSINESS SPEND $400!!!!! YELLOW COW STAFF ITS 2026 LETS DO BETTER!!!!!!!!!
