So we were there trying a new place, it took them about 10 to 11 minutes, literally just to acknowledge us, and then I asked for Horchata, and it was just water.
What a terrible place to eat , normally I will give you a rundown of the things that are bad.
But I just not gonna waste my time. It’s a very bad place. Don’t go to eat there. There’s amazing Mexican restaurants in Stillwater.
If I could give a zero star, I will.

I’ve always wanted to try this place when passing by Walmart—and it did not disappoint. Cafe Mona serves delicious Mexican-style breakfast. I had the El Policía, and it was hot, flavorful, and super filling. Great portions, fair price, and a peaceful, friendly atmosphere.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant and favorite coffee shop in Stillwater. Yes, that’s right, you’ll get the best coffee drinks here. So much thought has been put into each beverage and the flavor of them speaks for itself.
I try a new dish every time I go here. All items have been delicious and mouth watering. They cook their meat to be juicy and tender with loads of flavor.
The chips and salsa are good. If you love spicy food like me you can ask them to bring out their medium or hot version of salsa in addition to the mild version they give you upon sitting down. Each one has a unique flavor and is delicious in its own right.
I usually get queso con chorizo as an appetizer and it’s good queso. The guacamole is also so good that I go there to get it when I’m craving good guac with chips. Oh yeah, and the chips are made in house which makes them far superior to other places I’ve been to.
The service is great. They usually have the same girl working (I don’t know her name) and she is really good at customer service. I’ve always felt well attended to and taken care of. To notch!!!

Love this place. As a gringo from Laredo, I’m a little picky about Mexican food. Mona’s really surprised me. I ordered the Mechaca Norteña con frijoles and it tasted like something I’d get back home and the beans were spot on, not bland like a lot of places north of the Red River.
If you’re in Stillwater and craving legit northern Mexican-style comfort food, Mona’s is absolutely worth a stop.

Quit little spot over by walmart. Great mexican style food with that home made taste. My picky 3 year old even loved his food! The salsa was fresh and queso was on point! Side note didn’t try but they are serve specialty coffees and have a very delicious looking breakfast menu

I have never had a salsa this delicious! Their salsa tastes great! For dinner I had a Chicken Faloutas! No regrets!!! I would suggest to Get a lime rice and Fries on sides. Also do not forget to ask for their hot sauce!
