Place is an absolute joke. Ordered bacon cheddar ranch wrap and this is what I got. A tortilla with a piece of fake cheese, and couple crumbles of bacon. Fries not even cooked all the way through. Came with a group and nobody’s fries were cooked. Absolutely disgusting.

This place is great! We took the scenic route just to try Maggie’s since they were not open when we came through on our trip to Seguin. Everything here is homemade. The fries and onion rings are cut fresh and fried upon ordering. The atmosphere is welcoming and the food is southern comfort food. We will definitely stop at Maggie’s again on our next trip that way!

Unassuming roadside restaurant with some of the best hamburgers ever!! Wasn’t sure what to expect, but the reviews made us set our gps to this place. The “Fireworks Burger” and the “Chili Cheese Burger with Jalapeños” we’re some of the best tasting burgers we have ever eaten! The patty was thick, but let me tell you, it wasn’t dry. It was juicy and tasty!! And the chili on mine was smooth and delicious. The kind of chili you can eat a whole bowl of!! They have a burger eating challenge for those of you whose eyes are bigger than their stomachs. The lady and gentlemen who served us were friendly and nice. We will definitely stop here in the future.

This restaurant is a true gem. As we traveled through Shiner, we found Maggie’s Dinner and decided to stop in for dinner. It is quite unassuming and has a relaxed atmosphere but the food is old style diner if you had a 5 star cook! Everything we tried was cooked to perfection. I recommend the chicken fried steak or any burger. Stop by, you won’t be disappointed.

Brother and I traveling through Shiner and stopped in for first time for both of us at Maggie’s! A gentleman was walking out as we were about to enter and we asked him what was good to eat here. He said just about anything, but the burgers were what most people came for.
We decided that sounded good so I got the Flame burger and he got the Smash burger. We both decided on fries, but once the burgers came out, we should have skipped them since the burgers were more than enough. Each tasted wonderful.
A definite spot we will visit again. The staff were friendly and our order came out within a reasonable amount of time.
Kuddos to Maggie’s!!!
Oh, btw…they have a burger challenge that I would like to see someone attempt someday!!

Great service and great food!
My husband and I are visiting from out of town and stopped by for a late lunch. The staff was so welcoming and kind. We started with fried pickles which were nice and crispy and had a great flavor to it. My husband ordered the Chicken fried steak and I got The fried catfish. Food was so good! Definitely will be coming back.

The hubby and I were taking a nice drive from Houston to San Antonio and thought we’d stop at Maggie’s Diner for lunch because the reviews were amazing. Unfortunately, the building was plastered with political signs. Immediately changed my mind about spending my hard earned money there.

This is a nice, homey restaurant with good food and clean restrooms. It got kinda busy at lunch on the Friday that we showed up but we didn’t have to wait too long or have any problems. I ordered the Patty Melt with fries and it was great. My uncle got the catfish special and couldn’t eat all of it so he had to take it home. Will definitely come back when we’re in town!
