Had to venture over to the big city of Buckhannon to pick up something with my neighbor in his truck. I was buying lunch and he picked here. We both went with thecheese steak sandwich. He added onion rings for an upcharge and I went with the ‘comes with’ fries. The sandwich was fine. The space with a really nice outdoor seating was great. Tons of TVs. A nice bar. Although my buddy said it was not new it really gleamed and presented itself as brand new. I know I’m old but should two steak sandwiches cost $50 bucks with tip?

It took 45 minutes from the time our food was ordered for it to arrive at our table. The food was barely warm and you could tell it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. When we brought this to the attention of the waitress, her response was that in the kitchen was not the best crew. That’s not an acceptable excuse for horrible service and barely warm food.

Waitress was extremely nice, on top of everything, would give a 5 star for atmosphere but the host ( not sure of his name but he’s old, old enough to retire) came up to our waitress as she was delivering the drinks and getting our appetizer and started yelling at her about bussing her table while she was mid sentence asking us what we would like for an appetizer. He also came up and took our appetizer plate before we were even finished with it and my friend told him we weren’t done but he just kept walking anyways. We informed our server and she told us he was hard of hearing and probably just didn’t hear him say anything and she apologized on his behalf. My advice to buckhannon buffalo wild wings to not hire people that can’t hear 2 feet away.

I have eaten several times a BDud’s tonight the food was served cold…The place was dead when seated as the second table you expect your food to be hot or at least warm from the fryer, when bought to table. It was so bad I forced myself to eat half my portion. Good waiter, bad experience! Ridiculous behavior with the kitchen help.

Mine and my boyfriend’s server lexy was very stand offish and acted like an inconvenience to her time. As a server myself i would never give anyone service like i received. I don’t know if she was just getting cut or she was just having a bad day but i notice the guy behind me also sat with empty drinks so did my boyfriend and i. he had a sweet tea and when he asked her a refill she brought back tea saying “ i don’t know if it’s sweetened” with a handful of sugar packets. all in all an awful experience. if you go make sure to not get “lexy”

The bacon on my order wasn’t crispy at all, which made the dish feel undercooked and unappetizing. The nachos tasted like they were topped with canned meat rather than anything freshly prepared, and overall, none of the food had much flavor. For a place that had just opened for the day, nothing felt fresh, which was really discouraging.
On top of that, the prices don’t seem to match the quality. Paying such a high price for something as basic as a fountain drink just adds to the feeling that the value isn’t there.
The service also wasn’t much better. The staff didn’t seem engaged or motivated — most were standing around rather than working or checking on tables. It felt like there was little effort being put into making the experience enjoyable.
Overall, the visit was disappointing both in food and service, and I don’t see myself coming back anytime soon.
