Aunt Butchie’s of Brooklyn – Marlboro was founded in 2017. This location is the second destination with two major dining rooms – our main dining room as well as a catering facility. With a wide variety of deliciousness to choose from, you will be sure to enjoy the #MangiaExperience! What a great place for intimate party of 2, to a full blown work party of 17! Reservations were handled with such care from Nick. Business meetings that ran over time had me move our time down twice. It was handled with much care and understanding, so HUGE shout out to you Nick!!! Thank you!!
Our waitress did an unbelievable job!! She handled 17 chatty, hungry and happy people with such precision and care. You truly are an asset to your job and such a pleasure! Thank you too for your attentiveness.. Wow!
The menu…. Just simple perfection. Dined here numerous times and that’s why we chose it for our out of town business partners. They never had Italian food prepared and taste as great as this. They were all blown away. What an experience for them to take back home with them.

Wow! The food was AMAZING! Cook to perfection! The Limoncello Chicken was a perfect balance of flavor. The buffalo pizza crust was crispy the way I like it. Those Italian eggrolls had a bold flavor with a delicious sauce it sat in. I dipped pieces of the eggrolls the entire time. From start to finish the food was FANTASTIC! You will need to try it for yourself. My husband and I will return for another date night. Our server Carey was extremely friendly and attentive. The restaurant is nice and very clean. Relaxing vibe! Also, they have specials/deals on certain days. Stop in and enjoy!

What an excellent first time dining experience at Aunt Butchies. Staff were welcoming and on top of giving us the best experience. Food was delicious. Sauce reminded me of my family homemade sauce. It was a nice relaxing dinner where we were given our time to eat. Would highly recommend and I plan on going back myself.

Ordered sole oreganata and my friend sole lemon cello! They were both so fresh, hot and vegetables were cut fresh and all cooked too perfection! During the week they have prefixes menu that looks amazing! All 12 to go diners! Will be going back for sure!

The service and food was good, we stopped in for a late dinner after shopping in the area. It was a weekday and we didn’t have a wait. It was a Tuesday and they had their pasta night, however we ordered off the regular menu since the pasta I wanted wasn’t available on the discounted menu. The restaurant could have use a little more lighting, seemed very dimly lit.

Great experience here! We came for my cousin’s birthday and they were so accommodating. We had a family style dinner as we had a large party and everything was delicious! I loved the stuffed meatball particularly as well as the pasta with vodka sauce and steak with mushrooms. The owner (or manager? I think it was the owner though) was so friendly and helpful, the service from the staff was great too! I’ll definitely be coming back for sure. There’s plenty of parking and they also have a small bakery when you first walk in for their italian cookies and desserts.

I was so excited to try this restaurant! When I arrived I parked in their lot. I walked in and was greeted. The place was nice! Gabby was our server, and she was awesome! We ordered a few dishes, and they were:

The food was delicious! My favorite definitely was the meatball! The risotto was a little hard, but the seabass mad up for it! It was a good experience!

I came here with extended family and really enjoyed the experience of being with my family. The service was very attentive, which was probably due to us having a party larger than 10, so we had multiple servers. The atmosphere was very comfortable. The bread and oil that comes out was amazing, it was warm and the oil was seasoned well. They don’t have traditional menus, they used iPads, which I found a little bulky and inconvenient. They offer a lot of options, though, which I appreciate. We ordered some appetizers including the stuffed meatball, mozzarella spiedini bianca, and cold antipasto. The appetizers were pretty good! The stuffed meatball was my favorite, it was very savory and seasoned well. It was big enough for 5 people to share and be happy. For my meal, I got the chicken parmigiana. My meal was tasty, but the chicken was very thin and the sauce was not hearty and savory to my liking. I felt that I could have made a better one at home, but I was glad to not have cooked my meal for that day. My sister got the penne alla vodka, which I had a taste of, and it was rich and delightful. The prices of this restaurant are very expensive compared to the quality and value I feel that it had. They offer a cash discount, which helped a lot, but it was still pretty expensive. I was glad to spend time with my family, but I do not think I would go here by myself. I think if I had more disposable income, though, I definitely see the appeal in coming here.

I’ve been to Aunt Butchies several times, and the food has always been very good. Plan to have leftovers the next day because the portions are huge! My two favorite dishes that I tried so far is the chicken Parmesan and the rigatoni eggplant. The chicken Parmesan was tender and absolutely delicious!!! The rigatoni eggplant had eggplant and mozzarella cheese in it. It’s an excellent dish! All the other dishes have all been very good! For desserts I had the crumb cake, peanut butter pie, brownie, and raspberry filled cookie. The only dessert I didn’t like is the brownie. It was too dry and not fudge like. My favorites out of those are the peanut butter pie and the raspberry filled cookie. Both are delicious! The crumb cake is good too, but I don’t recommend getting it topped with ice cream. I didn’t think the ice cream was that good here. On Tuesday they have a $12 pasta menu. It’s the best deal in the state! Definitely check it out! I recommend dining at Aunt Butchies in Englishtown!
