I had a craving for Japanese, but wanted the unusual (yes, UNusual), so I took a chance on this place, because it was on the way home and it had a pretty decent rating. I also have to disclose that this is an online order and to-go experience. The service was fine and the order was ready to be picked up at the promised time. I didn’t really try to feel the ambiance for the visit.
I ordered a few basic and “safe” (but would consider as staple) dishes to test out this place: tempura, spicy tuna roll, rainbow roll, and chicken Yakisoba. Overall, yes, they all hit the standard. They are all good, but not great. Honestly, it will become the go-to 4th place and I would go back if my top 3 are all not available/long wait/close for the day.
Lastly, the tempura is the most disappointing of all with portion size. So order 2 plates if you like veggies more than shrimps.

Maguro Sushi is a solid go-to for lunch in Chandler. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the quality is consistently good. Their lunch combos are a great deal, especially for how much food you get. One standout: the fried chicken appetizer with dipping sauce — absolutely mouthwatering. Friendly service, relaxed atmosphere, and definitely worth coming back for.

Our favorite Ramen shop in the Valley- Service, food quality & flavor is always consistent and never disappoints! We always get tonkotsu & miso ramen with they’re actually fresh sashimi plate. Kick ass happy hour if you have time to check it out! We go a bit nuts with our bill but it’s great pricing and portions!! Thanks guys for always taking care of us!

The food; amazing! Please ask for the salmon sashimi, their quality won’t disappoint. Soft, buttery cuts of salmon just melts into your mouth. The spice in the tonkotsu ramen was a perfect balance. And their rolls are also exceptional, I tried the crazy salmon roll and the sauce distribution with the perfectly seared salmon was just really, really good. A rare gem in Chandler.

Definitely one of the best ramen places in Chandler. It’s cozy atmosphere on a cool evening and the hot broth of the ramen is a star, delicious and the flavor is balanced just right to enjoy. Very busy but the waitstaff is quick and friendly. Clean and tidy. Will have to return for the sushi.

Ordered the crazy salmon roll to go it was okay nothing special. For $18 you expect the bigger roll but the roll is so tiny and so are the salmon pieces on top. Small portion roll for high price compare to other sushi place. They are also being skimpy on the eel sauce and the roe on the roll.

Excellent spot for authentic Japanese cuisine in Chandler, nice decor too. The tonkatsu ramen was awesome and the dragon roll was spot on. The gyoza was great too. Definitely recommend this place, check them out if you’re ever in the area.

Our first time here and we loved it! Wow! Our server Ngan was so nice and sweet. Food was so good we end up coming back the next day. Best choice for sushi and Ramen! Will be coming here more often indeed!

My wife and I go here at least once a month if not more often. We love this place. The ramen is stellar. The sushi is amazing. It is a smaller place but that is not a criticism at all just a heads up if you’re reading this. Highly highly recommend this place. They have never disappointed us ever.
