Excellant from start to finish. We were served promptly and courteously. The chicken tacos and in house made chili were delicious. The fresh chips were light and fluffy like my friend’s grandmother made. Drinks were well balanced. Our waiter was Nelson and he was great. Check was timely.

Enjoyed a delicious family dinner in Rehoboth tonight. The dip trio was fantastic for an appetizer. The chicken fajitas had a lot of meat and arrived at our table sizzling. Our server, Jim, was extremely kind and attentive. Highly recommend!!

Very good food but the service was very very close. For Mexican food, you think you would get the food very quickly. The appetizer took 45 minutes to get. We only got enchiladas, tacos and quesadillas and the meals took forever. I would eat there again if the service improved.

I am extremely unhappy with this establishment. First of I ordered a club soda with lime and it had some brown trash floating in it. I asked my server what it was and she didn’t give me an answer. The only response I received was the smile she gave when she took the dirty cup away. The manager did not respond to my request for the check. I will not return horrible experience. Choose wisely.

As someone who lives in Rehoboth locally I was excited to hear about El Jefe opening, a Mexican place within walking distance of me that’s a little less expensive then Dos Locos. I’ve been at least 5 times so far and it’s a pretty good place. My biggest complaint so far is the tacos are just absolutely dripping with grease. The first night I went in the first week they opened the tacos were perfect but every subsequent visit the tacos have caused a small waterfall of grease to pool all over my plate every time I lift it to my mouth, I even got a pimple last time! The Big Oyster beer is a plus for me , the service is friendly, I think they just need a little more time to hit their stride. My girlfriend ordered the chicken enchiladas last time and said they didn’t really have flavor at all. I’m really rooting for this place, some small fixes to their menu and kitchen would go a long way. Otherwise when Agave finally moves in to Rehoboth they might find themselves hurting.

Brought a group for my birthday and had a terrible experience. Our drinks and food were delayed (2 tables who came AFTER us were served before us). Half the food came first and the rest didn’t come for 20-30 min. I ordered blackened shrimp tacos and not only were they not blackened but they were cold. Upon asking for a replacement, a replacement came BEFORE the rest of my table got food and it was the wrong order. Our waitress was running around and trying to get everything done while many other staff members stood around not doing anything. I don’t recommend this place at all.

The food was good, however the service was poor. Our drinks took over 15 minutes to arrive (after our meals had been delivered) and at that point our waiter told us that 1 of the 4 drinks was wrong on the menu. Our food also came out incorrectly. The restaurant wasn’t busy and this should have been an easy process
