It sucks that my new favorite restaurant is 4.5 hours from home. This place had amazing food, a cozy vibe, good prices, quick service and friendly staff. The tomato basil soup was some of the best I’ve ever had. Their sweet salad was fresh, with a great mix of flavors and textures. Their grilled caprese sandwich was delicious and super cheesy. The cookies were cooked to perfection – not too dry, not too doughy. I was very impressed!

This café in Kanab was a perfect, cozy stop on our way to zion national park. We weren’t originally planning a full visit — just looking for a quick bite and some coffee — but it turned out to be a great find.
While they don’t serve hot coffee and only offer cold brew, the food more than made up for it. The soup and grilled cheese were outstanding, comforting and clearly made with care. We ended up ordering two soups along with the Caprese sandwich, and everything was delicious and satisfying.
Overall, it was a warm, welcoming spot to take a break during a drive. If you’re passing through Kanab and want a cozy café with excellent comfort food, this is definitely worth a stop.

We had two grilled cheese sandwiches – the „Caprese“ and the „Gourment“. Both were crispy & delicious. For dessert we decided to go for a „Kanookie“. What a treat! Fresh cookie dough (under)baked in a hot skillet, topped with a scoop of ice cream and a topping. Absolutely finger licking delicious! The place itself has charm, warmth & lovely signs with meaning.

Very very delicious! One of the best grilled cheese I’ve ever had! We got the popper caprese and the gourmet – my favorite was the caprese that balsamic glaze on top was TOp NOTch!
Updated: we came back again during another trip and this time tried the kanookie- their special cookie in a skillet! You can build your own and their maple nut ice cream was incredible!!! Highlight recommend!
