What a great little place! They’ve been in business for a couple of decades so it’s hard to call this a ‘find’ instead of saying I with we had discovered them a decade ago.
Empanadas are what they do….and they do them really well! There’s about 20 varieties on the menu and all are made 100% fresh to order. I can’t really claim a favorite as all I tried were good and unique. The Atun is possibly the most interesting one I tried. Really enjoyed the spicy pollo too.
Family owned and operated. Empanadas take approximately 7 minutes to cook and arrive really stinking hot. Recommend a glass of Malbec with your food and don’t miss the dulce de leche filled crepe for the most reasonably priced dessert in the area.

I cannot say enough good things about this place!! It is a must try! The food was absolutely amazing and everything came out quickly. The owner Stella is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. Will defintely be making this a regular spot.

My husband and I love trying new places and this place was so good. I’m basic and got 2 of the mild beef empanadas but they were delish. The place is very spacious and clean. We definitely will be back.

True Argentinean Food. The empanadas are delicious. The desserts, unbelievable: flan con dulce de leche (casero), helado de dulce de leche, pancakes, alfajores. A little piece of Argentina in St. Louis. The place is extremely clean and the service is outstanding.

I’ve wanted to try Tango for a while, but it’s a bit far from home. I’m so glad an errand brought me to the area. **Outstanding!!** The atmosphere is bright & cheery, the owner is very kind and welcoming, and the food is so delicious! Every empanada we tried was flavorful. I loved the butternut squash while my husband enjoyed the beef with raisins (sweet + savory = delectable!). Trust me, save room for dessert. Both the cookies filled with dulce de leche and the dulce de batata & dulce de membrillo with cheese should not be missed.
You know a restaurant is excellent when you’re already thinking about what you’ll try during your next visit! I look forward to dining again at the delightful gem ❤️

My new fav are shareables! So I ordered a charcuterie board and a salad. The menu is 90% empanadas. My dining partner was less impressed, hoping for more of a variety.

Wonderful experience, very friendly and knowledgeable staff; well balanced and delicious empanadas (that are also conveniently labeled according to filling). Good portion sizes for other dishes, it’s smaller than an average American size portion but it’s perfect if you don’t want a box and still have room for a desert. Their canned beer was as good as the fresh one from the Anheuser Bush brewery in downtown, that was such a pleasant surprise!
