The food was actually much better than expected. The location is pretty cool, overlooking the main drag at the end of the airport runway. If airport noise bothers you, don’t come to Sint Maarten. I didn’t give it a higher rating because I have had better Mexican food, but probably not on Sint Maarten.

Has one of the more reasonably priced menus in the Maho area. Has a nice bar scene to it, as well as having great portions of food. My wife and I split the nachos with chicken, and the waiter was able to make our nachos half bbq chicken, and half plain chicken.
The food was great, and we were so hungry, the waiter said “I barely have to clean the plate at all!”
The cheese amount of the nacho was that of one I have never received back in the States. Was definitely fitting of a 5 star review

We ended with one more day on the island due to flight cancellation as result of hurricane Erin….we didn’t want to drive far as raining and wind gusts so tried to stay close to hotel. We decided to try this place as had seen it a few times driving by. Once we entered the wait staff informed us that it would take some time as they are short staff at the moment and said if we w okay could sit anywhere. We sat down and were given menus. There are a lot of vegetarian options which was great. He came to take our order quickly and we stated out with their nachos to share. The nachos were delicious the best we had in the island. Our entrees were equally delish, we tried the quesadillas, taco platter, rice bowl and fajitas. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The drinks were good we tried virgin pina colada and mango daiquiri. Overall the place is cute open restaurant style in a nice area with delicious food. Despite being told it would take long time it actually did not. If looking for good Mexican food definitely check this place out.

Very slow service. Was ignored by bartender as she tended to other guests. Was more interested in taking food orders than actually making drinks for me that had already been placed although she took payments from guests around me after the fact.
Bartender spent a lot of time on her phone as well for it to be so busy.

I ate here about 2 weeks ago and never got around to writing a review but the food I had was okay not anything special but the service I received was not good at all. The lady at the bar was kind of rude and was glued on to her phone another one when I asked her a simple question she didn’t even acknowledge my presence which was odd overall maybe I would order take out but never again would I dine in. Idek how this place is still open

3 Amigos is an absolute must-visit! The food was delicious, the drinks were strong and fun, and the whole place has such a great energy. The staff was friendly and made the experience even better. My wife and I loved everything we tried — it’s the kind of spot you walk into and immediately want to come back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food and a good time!

I’ve tried this place one night and really had to go back again. Great food. Great service. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Mexican food is one of my favorite choices. Who know perhaps I will dine there again.
I noticed people complaining about double gratuity. Sadly in many tourist places that’s one of the practices of the owners. Sadly, this money never or most of the time does not go toward the gratuity of the servers/workers. We can choose not to leave the tip but is it really fair? At the same time in the States we pay tax and leave 20% gratuity and never complain. Come on, it is your vacation. Let the workers be compensated for their really hard work.

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food! Great flavor with reasonable prices, bartender was very accommodating. Nice views of the strip!
