I found a decent sized chicken bone in my mouth as I ate my chimichanga. Not exactly enjoyable. I asked the manager for a refund and she gave me 80% of a refund on just that entree, nothing more. Treated me like I was lying about it. Asked if she would still be serving this tonight and she said yes…wouldnt have posted a review if they treated me more like a decent human.

The server George was an amazing server and honestly made our whole experience at the restaurant so much better. He was friendly, attentive, and super knowledgeable about the menu. He checked on us often without being overbearing and made sure everything came out perfectly. You can tell he really cares about his customers and takes pride in his work. It’s rare to get service that genuinely makes you feel welcome, but George did exactly that. We’ll definitely be coming back and asking for him again!

My wife and I love Macayo’s, but the Litchfield Park location on Indian School Rd is hands-down our favorite. The food is amazing, and the atmosphere here is on a completely different level compared to other locations. It’s always so welcoming!
We had Ally H. as our server tonight, and she was a total delight—friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly fast. Great service can really make or break a restaurant, and Ally definitely makes this place shine. We were so focused on devouring the Sonoran Enchilada Trio (YUMMY!) that we totally forgot to take photos!
If you visit, every server is great, but do yourself a favor and ask for Ally’s section. Merry Christmas to the whole team!

I recently celebrated my birthday at Macayos Mexican Food, and it was a fantastic experience! From the moment we arrived, the customer service was outstanding. A special thank you to the gentleman who assisted our large party of 10 with such patience and helpfulness. He made navigating the menu so much easier for us first-timers.
The food was absolutely amazing. The enchiladas and carne asada burrito were particularly delicious, leaving everyone at the table impressed. It’s always a delight when a restaurant exceeds your expectations in terms of taste and quality.
Additionally, I appreciated the cleanliness of the restroom and the ample parking available, which made the overall experience even more convenient and enjoyable.
Thank you,Macayo’s, for making my birthday celebration memorable. We look forward to visiting again!

February, 2026. Macayos new policy for takeout orders by pickup and delivery. Regardless how many people or meals are in your order, you will only get a 4 oz cup of salsa and basically a scoop or child size clear bag serving of tortilla chips. If you want more than that, you pay for it. This does not apply to dining room though. You still get all you want chips and salsa complimentary. Do you see a problem here? Penalizing those who do takeout. We don’t require busboys, waitresses, servers, bartenders, or dishwashers. We get hit with a $11.99 delivery fee. Plus don’t forget they always ask for tip for the person getting your food together. Although, my food usually arrives with items missing. So Macayos now wants us, the takeout people, to pay for chips and salsa. So we can pay their employees whom we don’t use. So we can be penalized and discriminated against. Not only do you get subpar food, often with missing items, but now you get treated differently by paying for items than dine-in customers get free. The scoop of chips is a joke. It is enough chips for a single person. And the 4oz plastic cup of salsa? What a joke. O am done with Macayos. They have finally lost my business.

Our server, Ryan, was perfect! We received great customer service. The restaurant was clean with a good family atmosphere. The shredded chicken and beef tacos were great- not salty, well seasoned, good toppings. Kids eats free with the purchase of an entrée this summer!

I absolutely will drive even further just to go to this location because George is hands down the best server I have ever had! He made the whole experience 5 stars, made sure my allergies were well taken care of. He was quick to get all our drinks and food out to us, answered questions about the menu and chatted with us too! I will be coming back, but only if I can be seated in his section!

First time here since it’s been open because we just have other places for preference but decided to give it a try. I will tell you i definitely underestimated it. It was pretty good and the staff was very nice. Karen is a great server. The food was not 100% authentic BUT it was very good and flavorful and much better than some places I’ve been to that claim to be “authentic” try it for yourself.

I frequent Macayo’s more often than I should, and I use the Rita’s Rewards program whenever I can. I was there recently with my son because I had a BOGO entree reward to use. I decided to splurge for a cheese crisp as well, since we were getting a free entree. Well, we got seated before 6, but couldn’t get the happy hour cheese crisp price because we didn’t get a visit from our server until after 6. Ok, fine. The kicker was that they took off the cheese crisp instead of one of the entrees for the BOGO!! The reward CLEARLY said BOGO ENTREE. I asked the server, and she didn’t even try to do anything about it. I sent a note to Macayo’s via their website and have gotten NO response. Very disappointed and feel “bait and switched”. Our “BOGO” meal for two was still about $60!!!
