Good food and honestly VERY good service. Cute place with a lot of history located on the North Idaho College Campus grounds. Fish Tacos are and fish and chips are sooooo good! Great breakfast!

Was excited to try a new place for breakfast. Sad to say I was a little disappointed in this place. It wasn’t popping and was nice and quiet but the waitress wasn’t the friendliest and the food was mediocre. My eggs were basically butter. It was honestly hard to eat they were so drenched in butter. My toast was actually one piece of overcooked bread, again OVERLOADED with butter. The sausage was Aite but I couldn’t make myself finish them.
Other order was an omelette. It was fresh enough and not hard to really mess up.
Overrall I wouldn’t go back for breakfast. I’d try another meal or possibly just a fun spot to watch the game and have drinks.

The El Ranchero Breakfast Burrito is what I had for lunch today at Fort Ground Grill. During the end of lunch (around 1:30) we walked in and were seated immediately. There were a few other occupied tables but it was certainly not busy. The place was decorated perfectly for my taste. It’s clean inside and free of obvious maintenance issues. We ordered and got our food within 20 min or so. My Burrito was hot and big (see pictures). I was not crazy about the Ranchero sauce that came on top. It had a weird taste and chucks of tomatoes in it. Just not what I’m used to. Hashbrowns were good. I like them a bit more crispy. Our server was friendly and so was the chef. Parking inside their parking lot is restricted to about 5 vehicles. They also have a dirt parking lot on the west side. Everything else is street parking. They have a few things on the menu that I want to try so I will definitely be back.

Had a French dip here. The meat was pretty tasty had a bit of a smokey flavor. Enjoyed it, the place has a rather literary feel. Books on the wall arranged in some sort of decorative style. Pretty reasonable prices and large menu of American type pub food

Great beer selection, the fish and chips were perfect. Everyone is friendly and they have a do friendly patio. This was a perfect stop for lunch.

Really need to stop sleeping on this place. Local treasure, they were understaffed like everyone else around today but didn’t show it in their attitudes or friendliness, and the food was absolutely perfect.

Great place, friendly and cozy. Everything we ordered was very tasty but as a person from the UK I have to say the fish and chips were fantastic. Too many times fish is breaded which I find makes it too crispy and dry. But this was battered in the English style and cooked to perfection. I wish I lived nearer so I could enjoy it more often.
