I ordered the Baja de California tacos with fish and they were fiirreee super flavorful and fresh. I also had the strawberry agua fresca and I loved it. The place has a nice vibe overall, a great spot to enjoy some good tacos. Definitely worth a visit!

It was Taco Tuesday and Bidsteak and Pastor tacos were less than a dollar. Inexpensive but loaded with great ingredients and flavor. This will be a repeat place. And Johnny (Juan D) walked us through the menu and stopped back several times to make sure everything was perfect.

Delicious! I decided to try the quesabirria, what can I say, it was fantastic! The tortilla was tasty with plenty of filling! Didn’t really need to be dipped in the birria sauce but whoa! It made it even better. Washed it all down with the pepino limonada,

We aren’t from Harlingen, but stopped in after my niece raved about the corn—and honestly, she wasn’t wrong. The appetizer order of Costilla de Elote (corn ribs) was bomb . The sauce and marinade were delicious, and the portion came with twelve pieces. Heads up: they’re served with cob attached, so don’t try to bite through the whole thing like my friend did . Only downside—$12 for an order feels a little steep.

The lemonades (strawberry & pineapple) were refreshing and perfect for the hot day. My only suggestion: instead of leaving the fruit on top of the lid, dice or muddle it into the drink so you can enjoy it without fishing it out at the end.

As for the food—mixed feelings. The tacos were $2 each, but just okay. The pastor leaned sweet instead of savory/spicy, which threw me off (personal preference), though the bistec was solid. My friend ordered a quesadilla and asked for the meat extra crispy. It came out cooked normally—not bad since she ate it, but disappointing since she rarely makes requests. Her husband tried the aguachile de ribeye—for $24, the portion was really small, just slivers of meat. No photo since he was starving after a 4-hour drive, but trust me, it was gone fast.

Service was super nice and welcoming, but food took about an hour to come out, which was rough for a group of six. Our waiter was kind and informative though, which we appreciated. We didn’t send anything back—we were too hungry to wait longer.

2•23•25 came in brought husband cuz i told him it was good to my surprise they failed. Brought me the birria with very shysty cheese. Told mgr. Fixed issue still was upset because there wasn’t need to call and be fixed everyone knows that birria has loaded cheese I had been here prior and posted the photos so why ask what’s the matter. He ordered the moieja tacos those were very good. As far as the waitress if she don’t understand in Spanish she should say yet she should know how is the food served. When ask her questions she stays in a trip so upsetting. You need to train your staff 101 Spanish and English. I took pictures of tacos so you could see what was the matter. It’s annoying they charge an arm and leg and think they can get away by serving horrible well its not acceptable so get with your cooks or retrain them to. I will have to try a new facility cuz I drove 1 hour to this one. So hope I get better service closer. Overall I was unsatisfied but it is what it is live and learn.

This was our first stop when landing in the RGV and it didn’t not disappoint. Awesome vibe, great service, cold beer and bottled Mexican soda, and delicious tacos of all kinds. We all loved our meals from chicken to shrimp to pork belly … amazing! Will definitely return.

We stopped here on our way to Corpus . The place is small but definitely gives you a taco stand feel like back in mexico. We don’t have any of these franchises back home so was really enjoying the decor. The service was good the waiter was fast and friendly. The food was really good I felt you get plenty for your money. We’d definitely comeback when we’re back on this side of Texas. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because we got here right when they opened and I originally ordered the birria quesadilla and they didn’t have any. I was really shocked that at the start of the day you are already out of something I could see if it was later on the day but definitely wasn’t expecting it at the beginning. Do recommend making time to stop here or another location.
