We visited the Starbucks in Burtonsville early in the morning around 6 a.m. The shop itself was clean and neat, and the coffee was about right. The barista, however, didn’t seem very cheerful or engaged — maybe just a rough morning, but it did affect the experience. Overall, a decent stop, but I would have expected a warmer, more welcoming vibe.

This Starbucks is incredibly slow, even in late afternoons when business typically winds down. Waited in drive thru for 15 min still after placing an order, with only 2 or 3 cars in front. I try to show up weekly since this is on my way to a weekly class, and it is typically the same each time. I often see other cars leave the line even after placing an order bc the wait is so long. I don’t know why it takes so long but please don’t offer a drive thru option if you cannot do drive thru pace.

My rating was based on my experience when I was ordering to this guy at the register , to be honest I rather order my drinks on the app because sometimes talking to ppl can be unpleasant and this was the case , I was treated in a different way from the other ppl just because I was wearing my uniform

I placed a mobile order for a sandwich. I was the second car in line the drive-through for about 10 minutes. I got out of line and went into the store for my order that was supposed to be ready at 1:09 went in the Store at 1:17. The lady was still in the drive-through and my order was not ready. I proceeded to call the complaint line at Starbucks and barely got a response until the representative hung up on me. I thought I heard Starbucks was trying to improve on service, maybe they need to try hard harder. I hope this helps. Thank you.

…Was given wrong drink, which being a coffee drinker most than other beverages did not notice until 1/4 and both names started with Bi; I just trusted barist when told it was my drink… did not care to complaints so drunk it and let them figure whatever else. Purchased a cup when asked about it the Asian-looking guy looked at me like I was from out of space and was very whatever demeaning type; so didn’t bother and did my own seach got me a reasonable cup on my own and sat there for a while drinking my now “Billy’s” drink while looking at all the “DONT WANT TO BE HERE ON A HOT DAY BARISTAS” EXCEPT for my cashier he was enjoying being there and though gave me the wrong drink had a very kind upbeat approach to my rewards and purchase concern! I was here on Thanksgiving day. It was about to close while I was having my coffee. The barista and I’m not sure what his name is comes over to me and tells me you better leave now and I said please give me less than a minute and I will leave. He said no leave now means now this is a way to talk to customers.

Either fire this employee or or have them as bouncers not baristas

I never stayed beyond the closing time and I never intended to give anybody a hard time

I have been coming to this Starbucks for many years. I’m not sure if there’s new management recently but service is slow! Last three times I went my order took 20 minutes. I had to cancel my most recent order as I waited inside and drive thru kept getting served. I’m so disappointed with no accountability from the workers or checking in to see orders. My family and I will take our business elsewhere.

Today was insane. I arrived at Starbucks to place a simple order. They were incredibly busy and they had four people behind the counter attending to the customer so I waited patiently for over 30 minutes to place my order. Once I placed my order for a caramel macchiato a hot coffee and a Raccoon cake pop I patiently waited because I would be a bit. When my coffee is finally arrived I asked for my cake pop which I paid for. Waited another five minutes nobody brought it so I walked into the cashier to ask me please have it can you just hand it to me so I can go at this point it’s been over 40 minutes that I’ve been in the store. Turns out they didn’t have it. All right they offered me a pink cake pop but for my six year-old son I didn’t think you’ll be very excited about that so no thank you. But since they’re wasn’t a manager to refund to the K-pop and it’s not a big deal I’ll just take the pink one so I can go. However there was a young man who begin to have a huge attitude I was respectfully the entire time except when he started raising his voice and saying that he only makes $17 an hour and he was really stressed out and can’t put up with this. I’m sorry it’s not my fault that that’s your wage which is pretty good in my opinion for barista job but that’s another subject. The point is you can’t scream at your customers you can’t be rude if you are stressed out you need to hire more help the supervisor on staff kept taking those orders he did not situation at all and really I just wanted the cake up so I could go with somebody handed it to me so I can leave with my order please. The man was Hispanic I just speak Spanish so I said in Spanish you need to respect people respect your customers don’t be rude don’t be Disrespectful and he replied with if you don’t get out I’m gonna call the police. I’m sorry they’re a lots of people around Starbucks that cameras I did nothing aggressive I was not being rude I wasn’t taking photos of him I wasn’t doing anything of the kind I just wanted my thing so I could go he was a very rude and I understand it’s busy which is why I patiently waited for a very long time and normal Starbucks Rent should not be 40 minutes!! You guys need to do better
