We went here for Valentine’s Day. It was our first time there. We were a little disappointed they didn’t use their regular menu (as shown online). They had a special menu for Valentine’s & what I wanted to order from their regular menu wasn’t on the special menu. They should have mentioned the special menu when we made dinner reservations or advertised it on their website.
We ended up ordering the Surf & Turf for two at $114. It included 2 lobster tails, an 8 oz steak (to share), mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, & green beans. The weird thing was it was all served on one plate in front of my husband. After it was served, the server brought me a empty plate a few minutes later. I then took food off my husband’s plate & put it on my plate. The steak was the best and cooked perfectly to medium rare. The rest of the meal was very salty. Our service was slow. They were a little busy, but there were some empty tables, so they weren’t packed. I just expected a little more from this steakhouse from the price we paid.

Had a wedge salad one evening and it was very good. Second evening I had the wings and fries and both were excellent! Their bottled beer is very cold! Service on both nights was fantastic.

Fantastic. I’ve been wanting to go here for a while, but it’s not super close, so it’s never really on the radar. I made a point to visit, and am so glad I did. Everything was on point. The food, the service, the drinks, the atmosphere/ambiance. Yes, it was expensive, but I didn’t feel cheated. I don’t mind paying for a great meal, and this was definately a great meal. I hope they don’t change a thing, because it’s exactly what a good steakhouse should be.

I was invited to Porter’s steakhouse by a friend who was celebrating her birthday, and she even had a theme to make the evening more fun and memorable.
From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming attitude from the staff. Once seated, the service was excellent—our table was consistently checked on, we were asked if everything was okay, and if we needed anything else. The staff’s attentiveness and presence made it clear they genuinely cared about our dining experience.
The food was delicious, and the dessert was absolutely amazing. Even though we were there close to closing time, we never felt rushed. We were able to enjoy the evening, take our time, settle the bill smoothly, and depart comfortably.
Kudos to the staff and management for such a great experience. I strongly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning.

We hadn’t been to Porters in years. We took our Mom for a Saturday evening Mother’s Day dinner. Excellent service… Miss Hannah. Food was Top notch. Beautiful place on the inside. We just loved it all over again

Steak was cooked perfectly for both dishes. Server was lovely and kept the delicious bread and butter filled. The green beans could use some sprucing up and less oil, French fries were subpar, I’d prefer to see some delicious supper club style hashbrowns.

Food and service was great. I cant believe the place only had a few ppl in there at 6pm on Sunday. We will definitely be back. One of my favorite stakes ever. Great job and chris was amazing. He celebrated our 3 yr wedding anniversary by making it special. Most restaurants won’t even acknowledge a gay wedding anniversary but this place did. Thank you so much.

We went to Porter’s for my husband’s work Christmas party and had an amazing experience. Chris was our server and truly outstanding — he managed a group of 16 with ease, remembered everyone’s names, and gave excellent recommendations. The crab cakes were absolutely delicious, and the sauce that came with them was addictive. I also ordered the lemon drop martini, which Chris mentioned they’re known for, and after trying it, I completely understand why. Everything was fantastic from start to finish.
