Great atmosphere. Outdoor seating. Order at the window. Customer service is on point . The food needs a touch more seasoning but otherwise it’s good. I ordered the breakfast tacos. Wish the price was a touch cheaper per taco. It’s average $5 for a taco. Overall great afternoon spot.

I regret not ordering more than a rosemary chocolate scone. It was the best scone I’ve ever had! Ever! Perfect textured crunch outside, with a pillowy softness inside. The pearl sugar on top and chocolate bits throughout did the heavy lifting with sweetness, while the dough itself was not overly dulcet. The hint of rosemary gave it a well-rounded balance. I can’t wait to try everything else on the menu.

Love the staff. Everyone there is great. My first impression of the bacon taco was that it was cold after waiting for at least 7minutes. However, it was flavorful and the eggs were perfection. I just wish it was hot enough to enjoy moreso.

A beautiful little cafe tucked away on a cute street corner. The breakfast tacos were delicious but they did take almost an hour to bring out our food. They have good vegan options with tofu scramble as a substitute for scrambled eggs. The only seating is outdoors which can be hot in the summer but it is shaded. Also their bathroom is painted really cute!

This has to be me & my partners favorite
breakfast spots. Simple & so much flavor. I get the bacon taco & it never disappoints. But if your looking for grits, get there early bc unfortunately every time we go they never have any! Overall amazing.

This is a cute neighborhood place, nice size patio, food is well seasoned, I ordered a curry chicken sandwich, they are out of bread, so they gave me a salad instead; but half of the salad leave is black and already gone bad. I am sure they don’t intent to do that, but oh well, they do need to check the quality of the salad and make sure they are fresh.

To me, that’s the problem of a lot of neighborhood small, family run, hole in wall place, they are friendly, interesting, but the food quality is not consistent and lacks certain standard.

All in all, still worth to give a try.

Go-to neighborhood hangout.
They have only outdoor seating since the pandemic started, with a subway style ordering window. It’s mostly ok, given the May weather. The nice staff makes ordering a joy. Fresh pastries and a good variety of inventive drinks make things interesting.
The people are the draw, as folks meet and greet at the tables and in front. Very fun to experience.

Pagoda Cafe has been on my list as a place to visit for several years. I was just never near the location during their opening hours. Apparently, it’s not been long since they reopened post pandemic. You order at the window and when your order is ready, they bring the food to a particular table and call your name. All seating is outdoor. I particularly enjoyed the mango lassi and the guava cream cheese puffs; although, I was puzzled as to why they called them “puffs” when there was only one. I wish there would have been something me mention that the sweet potato, mushroom and brown rice turnover was spicy, because nothing led me to that conclusion when I ordered the item. Some may have found the spiciness a pleasant surprise, but I didn’t. I found both turnovers lacking in flakiness, good, but not excellent.
