Easily some of the best tacos I’ve had in a while, tortillas were amazing, meat was so flavorful and juicy, very glad I went out of the way to check it out.

I moved to Portland from southern California almost 2 decades ago. I spent the first decade trying to find places like this. Serving up truly authentic tacos on hand made tortillas for a reasonable price. Just real people making simply and with love the recipes they grew up on is an underappreciated and rare art. Absolutely loved the carnitas tacos, it had a nice char and wasn’t overly wet, it was perfect. Green and red salsas were very flavorful and not spicy. They had one table that was luckily in the shade when I went at 2pm. Can’t wait to return again.

The food here is amazing but they seem to have just bad ideas when it comes to business. They close at 6 everyday, so people getting off work most likely won’t be able to get any food. Also, today I went at 4:30 to find the truck gone. When I called to ask what the new address was so I could stop by they told me they didn’t know. They didn’t know where their own taco truck is?! I’m not sure what’s going on there but it’s extremely disappointing because the food is actually really good.

Best tacos in Portland. Great quality and everything taste fresh. Asada is so soft it melts in your mouth, al pastor is so flavorful. They make some really good chorizo. They are all good.
