Like stepping back in time, cozy diner with both a counter and tables, extensive menu, and homemade desserts . clean friendly and most importantly, delicious food. Was in the area for some hiking for a few days stop there for lunch in the first day and went back for breakfast on the second day both were fabulous.
The photos are of my lunch of a bacon, lettuce and tomato on toasted rye and a homemade piece of orange Creamsicle cake, both fabulous

The staff was attentive and friendly, the prices were modest, and the bathrooms were clean, spacious, and well-lit. The coffee was hot, and refills were quickly offered.

The kitschy 1950s decor and memorabilia were a lot of fun and reminded me of items I remember from my visits to my grandmother in the 1960s. The luncheonette itself occupied a space that had been a pharmacy of the same name from more than fifty years ago.

Burleigh’s Luncheonette was a welcome and relaxing breakfast stop on our foliage tour of the region.

I’m sorry to say it, but we had a bad experience here. It took a long time to get our order. The food was somewhere between bad and OK. The eggs were fine. The bacon was bad. The pancakes were just OK. The grilled potatoes were interesting and tasty. It has a fun local feel, and an old timey diner setting, but I wouldn’t go in there for the meal.

I love the retro/Elvis vibe! This place has improved greatly since I was here two years ago. Simple menu, very delicious food. Very attentive and friendly staff, moved a table to accommodate my power wheelchair. I almost forgot to take a picture of my meal, ate half of it first! Very reasonable prices. Edit: this time when I stop by it was very busy, something I really like to see because it means this place will be around for a long time. They certainly deserve all the customers that can get. I had a delicious bacon burger to go!

This little gem is a throwback to the 50s. The burger was delicious and the meat was thick. I asked for well done and they cooked it fully and it was still juicy. The ham club was good as well. The sweet potato fries were crispy and cooked to perfection. The raspberry sauce was tasty with them. The onion rings were nice and crispy and the onion to breading ratio was perfect. It’s worth the stop here. Maybe next time I’ll leave enough room to try those fantastic looking desserts.

Monday, June 16, 8:15 – breakfast by myself.
I was looking forward to giving five stars to this place a local told me about, but:
1. The persons waiting on me never refilled my coffee (small-ish mug) and
2. The persons waiting on me spent the hole time o was eating (10 min) talking to two guys at the counter.
3. My veggie omelette with sourdough toast was great.
I think this is a good place and I just wasn’t lucky. If they can afford unlucky customers.

Great place . Very bright, clean and retro.
Waitresses were very attentive however we were asked more than 6 times how the food was or how are we doing. I found it kind of annoying. The food was very good and reasonable. Will definitely like to visit again when in the area.

My wife and I spent three nights in Ticonderoga as part of a three week fall vacation that included a Canada and New England cruise from Quebec City to Boston. I chose Ticonderoga as one of our stops as I thought it would be a good location from which we could use as to drive to Stowe and other places in Vermont’s Green Mountains; and then to Lake Placid and other places in the Adirondacks. Our plan was to see the fall colors and to visit several colonial historic sites in Massachusetts. The plan was good and we enjoyed the variety our road trips. But YIKES! We were shocked at the lack of restaurants in Ticonderoga and its disappointing condition. So, if you are thinking of visiting Ticonderoga, I suggest you not do anything more than a few hour visit.

That being said, we found Burleigh’s which is a diner in Ticonderoga’s decrepit “downtown” with a limited comfort food menu. Nice clean dinner with good and personable 2 person wait staff. We ordered fish & chips and chicken tenders baskets which were served hot, properly done and tasted good. Very simple food but good. The two wait staff worked well together. So, if you find yourself in Ticonderoga and want a quick simple dinner, Burleigh’s may be as good as it gets.

Absolutely the best bacon cheeseburger in town. Service is great although the older female waitress during lunch consistently has a look on her face like her dog just died.
