The first time I have ever had peanut butter and jam in a burger!
The Stacks food truck is located in the parking lot next to Headworks Brewing and Pursuit Distilling Co. You can use the seating outside and inside Headworks (just as long as you’re a patron to that establishment too!) to eat these pretty tasty burgers. It is a very popular location so try and arrive outside of peak times. We got there around 6pm and it was already very busy. It got even busier as the night continued.
I ordered the King Burger which is unique because it has peanut butter and raspberry jam. It’s a pretty interesting blend of savory from the peanut butter, sweet from the jam, salty from the bacon, sour from the pickles and I’m assuming bitter from the arugula but I decided to forgo that and keep it a little simpler. We also got the impossible burger, a boat of fries to share and a grilled cheese sandwich for the kid. All those items were pretty good! The fries are slightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and paired well with their Stacks Sauce.
The burgers and the beverages from Headworks went very well together and allowed us to have a nice relaxing meal. I do wish they had milkshakes but it’s understandable as space is at a premium in a food truck. I definitely recommend them!

The burgers were very creative, and quite delicious. Their shakes were unbelievable, and the service was top-notch. The only complaint I could possibly make was about the size of their patties. They were incredibly small. Small enough that I would argue that they were not quarter pound hamburger patties. Other than that I would totally stop back by if I was in the area next time I will just ask for a double-patty burger.

This is for the food truck service since I haven’t made it to their brick and mortar establishment.
I got the The 12 and it was huge! No skimping on meat, sauce, or flavor. Absolutely delicious! Their burgers are easily shareable.
I also highly recommend the fry sauce. Its a dressed up thousand island and its super yummy.
Customer service was outstanding. They forgot an item in our bag and fixed it immediately. Their service is kind and super speedy.
The reason for 4 stars is the fries were fried earlier and were hard and cold when they were finally served up. Also, the fry sauce is delicious but $1.00 for one to go ramekin is steep. Maybe $.50 each?

These burgers were amazing! Garlic parm fries were the probably the best I’ve had. Kiddo loved the grilled pb&j.

Got the “Beast” ($12) with drink and sweet potato fries ($5) totalling $18+ after tax. Food was good but not great. It looks like I was paying for presentation more than anything of great value.
Service – great, no complaints.
The Beast – it was ok, but at the $12 price I’d expect real cheese not American (though that is what is listed on the menu, I know) beef patties were fine, the bun again at the $12 tag I’d expect/want better.
Sweet potato fries – this was actually the better item. Hot, crispy and well done. Portion size is large the only down side is for $5 price tag for the quantity I dont feel like it was a great value. Don’t get me wrong. The value is OK just not great.
Would I come back?
Unlikely just because I feel like theres other places I’d rather go to if I was gonna drop almost $20 for myself alone.

Myself & Jr got the opportunity to try a couple of burgers from the food truck that was parked at Rogers High School in South Hill. I was impressed with the food and freshly fried fries. The staff was great and had a sense of humor when I asked for the 49er instead of the 12. Thank you for honoring a military discount.

We’ve eaten Stacks Burgers a few times as we’ve frequented Headworks, but this time they went above and beyond! Nicki took our order and she was not only sweet and spunky, but she totally heard me! I said I was allergic to onions and she made sure that everything we received was paid special attention to. We could hear them discussing if certain items contained any onions so as not to add them to my food! So beyond! This consideration at a food truck is more than I’ve experienced anywhere, including restaurants! GREAT STAFF Stacks Burgers located here at Headworks Brewing! Thank you for such caring and fun staff!

Unimpressed at best. I paid almost $15 for the single stack burger , a fry and one sauce (not including 15% tip), no drink, barely better than an average fast food place. Staff member never one time verbally acknowledged my presence or gratitude for purchase or my tip. My sauce was forgotten so I went back asking if I may get my sauce please, it was handed to me with zero words spoken. I will not be back nor recommend this place.

This is regarding their food truck since I haven’t been to their brick and mortar location. The burger is only okay, I had the Lil Stack with fries and I couldn’t taste anything but bbq sauce. The fries were probably the best part of the meal. Prices actually weren’t too bad, $7 for the burger and $3 for fries.
