I like to antique, during our visit to Collinsville, we stopped in for a bite to eat, sorry I always seem to forget to take pics. My wife has a veggie burger, I had a burger as well. The food was decent, nothing wrong there. The big impression was our waitress, my wife and I can’t recall her name. However, we commented to her on her great service, we spoke a few minutes and she has been a waitress for some time. She was so dialed in, on so many aspects, we were impressed. One of the main reasons we will be back.

Lisa’s Crown and Hammer in Collinsville was ok. Great looking place with a nice old atmosphere. Service unfortunately was forgetful and flighty, but friendly. Time to get food, like so many others have mentioned, took a LONG time.
Ordered a Parisian Burger medium, but it was served very overdone. This was disappointing as the restaurant was not busy at all. Crispy Chicken Sandwich is a hefty size and tastes great. French Fries are cut in house but were lukewarm at best when served.

Great space full of character. I was expecting more of a bar with some tables to eat, but it’s more of a restaurant with a very cool, secluded, and cozy bar area. The service was great and the cowboy burger was delicious, I love that they use English muffins as the bun. Also the hand cut fries were an unexpected treat!

First time here. We ordered the rigatoni bolognese. Tavern burger (no bun) and a French onion soup with a side Cesare salad.
The burger was not only cooked perfect, but thank god it was seasoned so well!! Plus not ordering a bun, I figured that I would have blood in my plate from resting. But the chef definitely pre rested the meat. So happy for that. The onion soup broth was so flavorful!!! And the rigatoni bolognese meat sauce was incredibly tender and flavorful!!! Keep up the good food

EASILY one of the best crispy chicken sandwiches I’ve had!
We went for our regular (Ruben on butter toasted bread, also fantastic!!) but decided to give the chicken sandwich a try. Delish!!
The service as great, thanks Kristen!! We sat outside close to the trail so atmosphere 10/10. BTW, they have plenty of high chairs for kids. We used 2.
Last but not least, the brownie sundae and Apple pie crisp with Vanilla ice cream both really hit the spot. Very fitting for this beautiful September fall day!

A charming pub with a friendly service staff and a old-timey atmosphere.
We’ve stopped by this place a few times after shopping at the farmers market on Sundays or after bike rides on Saturdays for drinks and lunch. The bartenders and wait staff are always attentive and engaging. We’ve ordered a few mixed drinks with great results. The lunch food is average, some of the desserts are great though!

Great place for an awesome meal. We had an outstanding Chicken Marsala and a Fishermans platter which were the best we have had! The scallops melt in your mouth. This is right next to the rails to trails path, great location. A shout out to the staff, we will be back.

Early June again, except now 2022, we had an enjoyable meal here later in the evening around 8:00PM. A few things were sold out, including the two most expensive entrées on the menu. We shared the Crispy Shrimp starter and ordered two cocktails off of the special drink menu – a Cadillac Margarita and a Rhubarb Gin Rickey. Mains: Grilled pork chop with sweet potato mash, apple pan jus, brussel sprouts with bacon and Baked cod with rice pilaf and asparagus. The pork chop was the star dish with generous portion size, flavor, sear and juiciness. The cod was good, too, for a lighter choice.

Dropping in for a cocktail and snack the other day, early June 2021, we were told they still weren’t open except for dining outside and inside the bar. The outdoor tables were full so we sat at a table for two in the bar. The special cocktail menu has names only, no ingredients, so we inquired about a few and chose a spiked lemonade and peach martini. Decent drinks.
The two appetizers were above par. The wings with barbecue sauce were plump and meaty with the right crispness, and the fried ravioli had the right crunch, bite, amount of cheese, and seasoned sauce on the side. We’d readily order both again. Since my martini was small, I ordered a margarita which was definitely a better drink.
With the bar area being an intimate size, it was hard not to hear others conversations. That said, this is very much a locals establishment which will remain as such once it reopens all of its rooms. Diners won’t notice this detail then with much more space.

Wings and fried shrimp apps also satisfying. Fish tacos and fish and chips okay…have had better elsewhere but these are common menu items which makes competition large. Specialty drink was tasty.

Great find in Canton. The bartender greeted me immediately. Small but good selection of craft drafts. The Truffle Burger was very good and served on an English muffin. The meat was more well than medium but remained very tender and tasty. The fries are to die for. The ambiance is nice and a little funky. There is plenty of parking nearby at the historical society.
