When Carissa made a trip down to Utah for a pop up, I had no idea how much I would be wishing I lived closer to her shop! The cake slices were incredible. All the cookies and sammies were perfect. The salted caramel is to die for! My only regret is that I didn’t buy more! Everything was perfectly baked, flavors were spot on and balanced. You can taste the high quality of ingredients she uses. My husband laughed when he saw how much I ordered (thinking it was just another bakery) but immediately after tasting he questioned why I didn’t order more!

This place is a must-try! I have never had anything here that I didn’t like, but I have a particular weakness for the Mrs. Jenkins, cream puffs, and cinnamon rolls. The portions are huge and everything is made fresh in-house, so I always feel like I’m getting my money’s worth. The staff are all so friendly and helpful! Carisa’s Cake Company is one of those hidden gems you wouldn’t expect to find in such a small town. It’s more than an hour round trip for me to come get treats here, but it’s worth the drive every single time!!!

Somehow I found Carissa’s instagram page before she moved back to Idaho. I had enjoyed following her and admired her work. Fast forward she moved to Idaho 1.5 hours from where I live. My husband and I ventured that way for treats!! We were not disappointed and haven’t been any time we go back. The party animal Sammie is my husband’s favorite. I like the caramel toffee. We hope to catch her on a coconut week one of these times!

Funny story about finding Carrisa’s Cake Co. I have followed her on Instagram for a while now. I didn’t realize that the cake shop I have passed many times was indeed Carrisa’s in Kooskia. I was so excited and really bummed that I didn’t have a clue where she was located. I stopped in and bought the yummiest desserts which we had for Valentines day dinner. I will definitely be going back. It made me so happy to finally see the beautiful shop and try your wonderful treats. Thank you for all your hard work and making a great place to buy local pastries.

Carisa’s Cake Company is top notch product and service. The owner and her employees are kind, efficient and hardworking. I have never eaten anything I didn’t absolutely love. My favorites are Mrs. Jenkins Mousse cups, Lemon bars, Chocolate Chip Cookies and the Lemon Bar Mousse cups. I HIGHLY recommend this adorable shop to all!!!

The cutest little shop and the sweetest employees!! My usual is always cinnamon rolls, a slice of cake(whatever’s chocolate), an Oreo Sammie and Mrs Jenkins mousse. It is all FANTASTIC!! And recently they’ve added milk to their case which is so nice to wash everything down! I have an obsession with those cinnamon rolls and am dreaming of the next time I can go get some! I’m always lucky if I can get there before they sell out.

I ordered a box of these cookies to be shipped. I like to splurge every once in awhile and these cookies were the best cookies I have Ever ordered. Everything from customer service to the amazing packaging and the cookies was amazing. I usually bake my own cookies and I think one of the most important ingredient is MADE WITH LOVE and I can tell Carisa does the same. Carisa’s makes the best dessert I’ve had in a long time the taste like something my grandmother would make at home. Everything taste like it’s not only homemade but made with love. Definitely worth the 3 hour trip to and from, as well as waiting in any line she may have!
