We were really disappointed with our visit to 21 West End. The service was extremely slow — it took hours for our food to finally arrive, and our drinks sat empty for most of the meal. When dessert came out, it said “thank you” instead of “happy birthday,” even though we had mentioned it was a birthday dinner. The food itself was sub par once it arrived. The experience as a whole just didn’t meet expectations, especially for a special occasion.
It was my boyfriend’s first time to experience this location and I had raved about what a great place it was… only to leave with such disappointment that we will not choose to eat here again.

Traveling to the area for a dance competition and tried 21 West End for the first time- it was fabulous! Our server Jeffery was very attentive, friendly and even brought us a special surprise for our wedding anniversary. 5 stars all around! Thank you 21 West End for a wonderful night!

What a surprise for Fort Smith! I grew up here and this is one of the nicest restaurants this town has ever had. I came here as a celebratory event with my elderly parents and my brother. It’s a traditional menu. I ordered fried brie for the table and it was otherworldly good. Even my parents, who are not adventurous eaters, loved it. I ordered the pistachio sea bass with mushroom risotto. I was pleasantly surprised at how many seafood dishes they offered. Mine came out PERFECTLY. My father had pork loin, my mother had the crab cake appetizer has her entree and my brother had steak/shrimp. Everyone was really pleased. I will happily return here!

Amazing location, very intimate, everything about our evening was delicious and exceeded any expectations I had by a large margin. Reservations on the weekends are HIGHLY recommended. Only caveat I could mention is the confusing layout, but that’s part of the mystique. When you walk thru the old style speakeasy door nothing greets you except a stone stairwell leading down 2 flights to the basement, then turn RIGHT for the main restaurant. Our server Mitch was a delight, and made several recommendations that we took advantage of, including cocktails and entree choices. The sea bass was melt in your mouth as was the filet mignon. If I could rate it 6 stars I would. Wonderful experience all around.

Service was friendly, informative, and attentive. Our waiter even told us of the history of the building which was the first municipal building and jail in the 1800’s.

The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. And salmon is difficult to find that has been cooked well. The smoked chocolate truffles for dessert were rich and decadent. Next time we will need to try the charcuterie board. The table next to us ordered it and it came out with a lid that when the waiter removed it, the most amazing smoked aroma was released.

Definitely recommend trying this out. The menu had good variety and unique flavors.

We had a great time here. Love the atmosphere. Service is fantastic. Fondue was delish. Crab cakes were good. The meat in our entrees were great. The only thing we didn’t care for were the sides (but that’s just personal preference).

The place we were going to go to was closed, so we chose 21 West end on a whim. Dang did we hit a home run. This place was awesome. Our server was friendly and offered wonderful suggestions. Literally everything that we ate and drank was absolutely wonderful. Wife had the filet mignon and it was like butter, I had the tomahawk porkchop which was amazing.
