My husband and I stopped in for a drink and a late afternoon snak and we weren’t disappointed. The bartender was fantastic and incredibly professional and personable. I had the Espresso Eggnog Martini and my husband had the RootBeer Old Fashioned both were great drinks. The deviled eggs flight (which changes weekly) was amazing they had a potato salad, Mac and Cheese, and Fried Chicken all of which were amazing. Lastly we had the Pimento cheese dip and it was fantastic. Overall Bye Bye Birdie was fantastic and we can’t wait to return.

My friend and I visited Bye Bye Birdie for the first time to celebrate her birthday. It was a wonderful experience in a laid-back but elegant environment with exceptional service and delicious food and cocktails! Everything was right on point and very enjoyable. We will definitely be back. The balsamic caprese hanger steak was entirely inhaled by myself who is not necessarily a steak fan. So good! French onion, soup and apps equally decadent and delicious. A wonderful addition to the Beaufort food scene.

Bye Bye Birdie may be new to Beaufort, but it already feels like it’s been part of the community forever — and it’s flawless from start to finish. ✨

From the moment you walk in, the staff’s professionalism and dedication set the tone for an exceptional experience. Every detail — from the drink presentation to the overall atmosphere — shows how much thought and care went into creating this spot.

I tried the Amelia cocktail, made with Ketel One, St-Germain, muddled blackberry, lemon, and mint — and it was as stunning to look at as it was to sip. The deviled egg flight was amazing and the meatball sliders were the best in Beaufort! Ben’s years of experience in the restaurant world clearly shine through in everything from the service to the flavor balance.

A fresh addition to Beaufort that already runs like a local favorite — I can’t wait to come back.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | Bye Bye Birdie – Beaufort, SC

“Creative Southern bites, polished cocktails, and pure Lowcountry charm.”

As a Level 8 Google Local Guide who eats out over 300 days a year, I can say confidently: Bye Bye Birdie is one of Beaufort’s rising stars.

We grabbed two seats at the bar on a sunny afternoon and started with their Weekly Deviled Egg Flight — and wow, it’s one of the most fun, flavor-packed starters I’ve had anywhere in the Lowcountry.
• Mexican Street Corn: Creamy, tangy, and dusted with cotija and chili lime seasoning — everything you love about street corn in one perfect bite.
• Guacamole Jalapeño: Silky avocado whip topped with pico and jalapeño heat, beautifully balanced with crisp tortilla sticks standing tall.
• Buffalo Chicken & Bacon: Smoky, spicy, and downright addictive — the crowd favorite for sure.

Every detail showed off the chef’s playful creativity. The plating looked like something straight from a magazine spread, and the flavors delivered even more than they promised.

To wash it down, we tried the April craft cocktails — a stunning berry-infused creation that was both refreshing and complex. Lightly sweet, citrus-forward, and served in tall glasses over crushed ice, it felt like the first sip of summer. The bartender knew exactly how to balance flavor and presentation — a rare find in a small-town spot.

The vibe inside is airy and relaxed — polished wood bar, golden lighting, friendly locals, and that subtle hum of good conversation that tells you people love being here. Service was quick, warm, and genuine — the kind that makes you want to stay for “just one more.”

I also peeked at their menu for next time — the Salmon BLAT, Asian Chicken Salad, and Fish Tacos are calling my name. You can tell this place takes pride in fresh ingredients and thoughtful pairings.

Whether you’re a Beaufort local or just exploring the coast, Bye Bye Birdie is a must-visit for brunch, cocktails, or an easy date-night bite. Creative food, killer drinks, and Southern hospitality done right.

Amazing experience at Bye Bye Birdie! We are visiting family in Beaufort & went to dinner at this fantastic restaurant. Large cocktail menu for your delight. Food is delicious & prices are quite reasonable.

We came at a busy time, however we sat at the bar & enjoyed a cocktail until a table was available. Just a short wait, so it didn’t impact our timeframe at all.

Happy to recommend Bye Bye Birdie!

Was drawn in by photos on FB but wow! Had the deviled egg flight and as you can see, I barely remembered to take a photo they were so so delicious! Highly recommended as a starter. Chicken Sammie was delicious too. The pimento cheese was the highlight honestly. Per the review I read, I did order the Arnold Palmer and it was one of the best I’ve had. 5 out of 5 stars! Please come eat lunch or dinner because you won’t regret it!

Ordered deviled egg flight, was okay not what I envisioned again overpowered with jalapeños.
I really was so excited to try this new place. I also ordered Chicken Riggies. I had to send it back the Jalapeño overpowered the dish. My mom ordered spaghetti and meatballs her sauce was watered down, bland.
Our Waitress Caroline, was spectacular and very attentive. She mentioned there was someone else that mentioned that earlier as well. I felt bad sending it back but how would they know if it’s not brought to their attention. The coconut cake was amazing!! We will be back to retry.

In town for a special event and went with friends to Bye Bye Birdie. Warm, welcoming diningroom filled with plants and serene decor. Lots of seating options. Enjoyed our cocktails and dinners. One friend had the fish of the day, another the burger and I had the avocado shrimp salad. Excellent staff. Highly recommend.

From the moment you walk through the doors, you can tell this restaurant is something special. It has that rare combination of warmth, comfort, and class that immediately makes you feel both relaxed and excited to be there. The décor is elegant without being stuffy, and the overall environment somehow manages to feel laid-back enough for a casual dinner yet sophisticated enough for a romantic date night.

Let’s talk about the food — because it is phenomenal. Every dish I’ve tried has been packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. The prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality you get, which makes it even better. Their salmon, in particular, deserves its own spotlight — tender, fresh, and full of flavor, easily the best I’ve had anywhere around.

Recently, they’ve added soups to their lineup, and it was such a pleasant surprise! The Corn and Crab Chowder is absolutely to die for — creamy, rich, and comforting in every spoonful. It’s the kind of soup that makes you stop mid-conversation just to say, “Wow, this is amazing.”

The staff truly go above and beyond. Every single person is friendly, attentive, and genuinely seems to care about making sure you have the best experience possible. The manager is one of the most welcoming people you’ll ever meet, and it really sets the tone for the entire restaurant.

Whether you’re looking for a spot to grab some delicious bar food, a cozy date night dinner, a place that even your picky teen will love, or just somewhere with fantastic drinks and good company — this place checks every box.

If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and stop in. Between the outstanding food, inviting atmosphere, and exceptional service, you’ll leave planning your next visit before you’ve even walked out the door.
