I walked into Amigos with one simple goal: grab an inexpensive, solid breakfast burrito and be on my way. What I didn’t expect was to discover a true hidden gem tucked into a quiet row of shops off Arapahoe.
From the moment I stepped through the door, I felt genuinely welcomed—like a regular, not just another customer. I was seated right away and helped immediately with professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness that set the tone before the food even arrived.
And then there was the burrito.
Hands down, one of the best breakfast burritos I’ve ever had. I knew it was something special from the very first bite. Every bite after that confirmed it—perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful, and deeply satisfying from start to finish. “Extremely tasty” doesn’t quite do it justice.
The menu already has me planning my next visit, because if this burrito is any indication, there are a lot more winners waiting to be discovered.
Amigos is the kind of place you hope to find but rarely do—unassuming, welcoming, and absolutely delivering where it counts. A true gem. And sorry… the secret’s officially out. ✨

Have eaten here for over 10 years. Shredded beef burrito was my favorite but now I’m into the Carne Asada burrito. When I worked near by we used to order take out at least twice a week. That was under previous owners I believe. We do like their chips and salsa too.

To say that I am disappointed, is an understatement. My family and I went to have a great dinner to celebrate my granddaughters first birthday. We were treated with the WORST customer service. Specifically, a young man by the name of Jahir, I believe, made a comment about how fat my daughter was, calling her “Gordita” . Then proceeded to make fun of my family the rest of our evening (he did not know that I was fluent in Spanish after years of studying abroad in Spain) The food was terrible! Service was terrible! Please do NOT visit this place. If you want to get ridiculed for how you look, visit Amigos!

This little place has my favorite Mexican food in Colorado. Their carne asada is outstanding (I have had it in my burritos and tacos). The service is excellent – just a mom and pop restaurant with a great team. I put the atmosphere as 3 star simply because it’s a simple strip mall restaurant but it’s clean and a nice place to have a bite.

Restaurant was pretty empty at lunch. Not a lot of food traffic which was a sign. I was not a fan of the food here. The green Chile is much different than all other places and had gelatinous texture and the flavor wasn’t special. The rice has a very strong smell to it that I didn’t like, couldn’t figure out the seasoning. I had the shredded beef burrito/taco combo, green Chile cheese fries, and coke for a $29 which I didn’t get my moneys worth. The shredded beef didn’t have flavor. The fries were soft and undercooked. The salsa was good, but the chips were stale. The other Mexican restaurants nearby provide better value and flavor. For $29 bucks, the food should a lot better

Me and my boy wanted some tacos near work. Googled “tacos” … next thing you know it was across the street!… so we both were thinking “hell yeah! Let’s go!!!… got into the car 1 minute later … went in and placed our order and got our order within 5 minutes and service was amazing! We got “to go” order … front counter guy Greeted us good morning and told us what was going on…highly recommend this place/ tacos because the meat was really delicious in , Good job to the crew thank you for the food will be coming back soon

Kind of a hole in the wall, small place made more for local takeout than dine in. All my pictures were deleted, and I put lots of work into them. One had almost 2000 views in 1 day on one photo. Did not put a dent in my 540M views, though, just angry I wasted time going here.
1 star review of other people do have merit since tortillas are store bought and food is bland. The only good thing is the extra hot salsa. That part was amazing and why this is not a 1-star restaurant. Also, the prices are low, but you get what you pay for.

Unfortunately there is nothing authentic about amigos. Powder horchata , stale chips, paste salsa and the prices are still Colorado high . No sides with tacos or many of their “specials” . Meat was tough . Just a sad experience. Tortillas aren’t even homemade or their chips . Not to mention the atmosphere is that of a failing strip mall
