I have been a customer since 2018 and the quality has gotten even better through out the years. I didn’t even think that could be possible with how popular they’ve gotten through the years, but it’s my favorite sushi place ever!!! The scorpion and the shrimp crunch roll are to die for and the salmon quality is as good, if not better than edo japans. i would have them cater my wedding if i got married anytime soon. highly recommend!!

They prioritized our order among the dozens of to-go orders. They were fast and friendly, and most importantly their sushi was delicious! A wide variety, especially when comparing to other options this side of the lake. Seaweed salad was also very good

Excelente tienda tengo más de 3 años comprando aquí, doy una estrella en servicio debido a que no atienden en el horario indicado I arrived at 8:50 today. The sign said “open,” and the door was open. I went inside, and they told me it was closed. I understand I arrived 10 minutes before closing time, and the employees need to rest. They should close the door and turn off the “open” sign so customers don’t leave disappointed. Of course, I’ll never stop buying sushi at this shop; they’re the best.

Great! Service was good not great, seemed like they had a long day. But the food was great. 6 people in our table and was over 8 across the table. Favorite was the Louisiana roll, recommend. House salad was good but the sauce wasn’t one I’m used to, I LOVE the one from Hana Hibachi. Not expensive and great if you go as a group

I was driving by the area, craving sushi, so I stopped by this place for the first time and won’t be returning. I placed an order for sushi, looking forward to it, and I tipped in advance. Then I sat down and kept waiting for my food. I noticed it was still by the cashier while she took orders for other customers. I got up, asked if it was my food, and she said yes. So I picked it up serve myself and put it on the table. Then I asked if they had chopsticks or anything since my table was empty. Later, she apologized and brought it, but after what I experienced, I lost my appetite. The food itself wasn’t that bad, it just ruined my mood. This is why I don’t like to tip in advance because I don’t know what service I’m getting.

We have driven passed this nearly every day for years and finally dropped in. They have a pretty descent, if not standard, selection. Everything tasted and looked pretty fresh (by Texas standards). Overall, we were satisfied and happy with our choices.
We had four sashimi: salmon, snapper, white tuna, and yellow fin. The salmon was my personal favorite.
We also had a caterpillar roll and spicy tuna roll. Both were standard but tasty. The spicy tuna was definitely spicy which my husband appreciated.
Our last item was the salmon tower which was very good. It had salmon, crab, avocado, rice, and some crispy things (not sure what they were) that added a nice crunch. I think we were supposed to put this orange sauce on top but forgot.
Everything was enjoyable and we’d come back the next time we want sushi at home.

Flavors and freshness are there, but visually speaking this place needs some work. Rolls are inconsistently portioned. I’ve never seen an Alaskan roll with oddly cut pieces of salmon on top. A piece of our salmon roll had barely any fish compared to the other pieces. They used the wrong seaweed for our salmon roll(they used a hand roll seaweed instead of a sushi roll seaweed) and they don’t use sushi rice(it was regular rice and not sticky). We were surprised on how fast the rolls came out, but would’ve preferred to food to come out slower, so that presentation was better. It’s clear that the Japanese art of sushi is not here. It’s more like fast food sushi. This place is on the right track.

the Sushi looked amazing. Very tasty and delicious. you get 8 rolls per order. The pricing was very good too. My food was ready quickly and the service was friendly. I will definitely be ordering from there again and would recommend.

The food here is awesome and fresh!! The volcano roll was absolutely my favorite!! Not too heavy despite the looks, flavorful, and just the right amount to order with other appetizers and dishes. Great service, my main reason for the 5 stars, lovely workers who made me feel welcomed and appreciated for dining in. Overall, had a wonderful experience almost that of a high-end restaurant, but affordable price! Thank you!! Definitely will be back again!
