Good food, some interesting selections available including a type of sweet fried bread. Outdoor seating overlooking the Manistee River. Margaritas were $12 each, no thanks. Why not offer a smaller, lower priced, El cheapo tequila option? Kind of creepy decorating with morbid art, but I suppose that is the theme. I’d go back. It’s probably packed in summer for the outdoor seating.

We had the Brilla tacos and chicken, cheese and rice. Don’t ask me the name . But the atmosphere was so neat. The lady serving us was so sweet to me and my 2 boys. But don’t get me started on the food. It was AMAZING, and large portions. Definitely will come back when we are in the area.

La Catrina was a pleasant surprise tonight. Food was really good. We had an appetizer and each had an entree. The flavor is spot on. A new place you have to try! Highly recommend. We’ll be back soon.

I had the house Carne Asada House Burrito delivered. I asked for sour cream & salsa on the side since it doesn’t come with these items. The burrito was smothered in a pool of what appeared to be marinara sauce & tasted like a bad marinara but it was actually salsa. And the sour cream was on top of the salsa…. I wanted it on the side.And who in their right mind would think that anyone would order their burrito like this, much less, find it appetizing. The carne asada was rubbery, wet & had zero flavor… everything about this burrito was unappetizing. It tasted like a bad burrito covered in marinara… very disappointing & disgusting. I called to let them know, the lady set the phone down, proceeded to have a conversation in Spanish with her manager, the conversation ended, she picked up the phone & hung up on me. This place is a joke. Don’t bother wasting your time or money.

Got Birria tacos, they were great! However like one reviewer said, the chips and salsa brought to the table ended up being a charge on our receipt! $3 is not bad but seems like something that should be asked if there is a charge for it. Taking off a star due to this.
