Bright and cheerful interior and service. We are fortunate this place opens at 6am! Not many people on a Mo day morning but they do a good carry out business. Coffee is smooth and hot. Had a craving for Eggs Benedict and it was delicious. Muffin was fresh, eggs poached just right, good Canadian Bacon and yummy hollandaise. The home fires was quite salty and very peppery. Three egg omelet was excellent too. And you can even get a burger at 6am! Came back Monday and the Benedict was highly seasoned, as were the home fries. I asked if it was possible to get unseasoned home fries while placing my order. It’s not an option.

On 2/17 my friend and I had a seat at one of the booths in the morning. The restaurant was fairly empty. Food was good, service was fine. My friend noticed a crawling bug on the wall at the booth behind me. She mentioned it to the server who came back to us later and gave (only) my friend a card for a free muffin the next time. Since one of us lives in Calabash and the other in Leland, neither of us can redeem it since it’s only good at “Garden City, 38th Ave MB, NMB Main, Conway 501, Wilmington, and Myrtle Beach” according to the back of the card. Even if we were to redeem it, are we supposed to split the muffin in half??? Oh and the best part was the free muffin card had expired 12/31/25. If this was supposed to make up for the bug crawling on the wall, they failed miserably. I don’t recommend this location!

The best breakfast spot in town for anyone with celiac wanting great gluten free pancakes. I can get eggs anywhere as someone that HAS to eat gluten free I don’t want to go out to breakfast too get eggs and not have any real gf options, Eggs up has fantastic gf pancakes. had celiac for 17 years and finding a place with gf pancakes or waffles and that are good and don’t get sick from cross contamination is rare. The staff is great they all work together like a well knit basketball team specifically Brian, Lana, Brooke and Maddie, they are all super nice helpful and friendly and always seem like they want to help. I used to go to famous toastery but the vibes are just 10x better at eggs up grill in monkey junction. Fairly priced and I’ve never gotten sick from cross contamination or had any problems from the kitchen. Shout out Eggs up grill for the gf pancakes hoping for gf waffles soon

We had an amazing experience at eggs up this morning! Their menu is huge and with so many options you’re surely to find something for everyone. I made some adjustments to my loaded home fry bowl and they were more than accommodating. Friendly and welcoming staff too, although the young lady working as hostess this morning seemed like she would rather be elsewhere. At the end of the day the experience was great and we would return!

My husband and I both really enjoyed our meals. Everything tasted great and the prices were very reasonable. The menu is big and we are looking forward to returning to try new items!

Nice place to go for a relaxed breakfast or brunch on the way to the beach. Even though it wasn’t busy, food took a while, and there was a few small errors. The food’s good, but not the best breakfast in Wilmington. The prices were reasonable, and the French vanilla cappuccino was good. Pictured is the Grand Classic breakfast dish and a side waffle.

The lady Kayla was absolutely amazing! She was knowledgeable, respectful, and super attentive. After observing management being rude to her and other employees, she brushed it off and showed back up to my table with a smile on her face! Management made it kind of uncomfortable.

We had a little wait, but I think they were a little short staffed. The restaurant was nice and clean, very friendly staff. Big breakfast/brunch selection on the menu. Unfortunately, we started to dig in before I remembered to take pics, but I think you can get the drift. Food was DELICIOUS! We will definitely be back!

Part of this review is a five star review. My family and I were here this morning and we were excited to try a new place to eat. First, the good. The food here was excellent. 5 stars all the way. It was delivered quickly, it was prepared perfectly, and everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. My biscuits and gravy were top notch. The grilled biscuits were good, the gravy was hot, filled with sausage bits and had amazing flavor. My daughter loved the waffle breakfast sandwich and my wife’s cinnamon french toast was excellent, I tried some of her hashbrown potatoes and they were great. The coffee was excellent and I could see myself drinking many cups on any given morning. In the realm of food Eggs Up Grill is knocking it out of the park. Why 2 stars then? The service we received was so disappointing. We came in behind another couple who were seated before us. We sat down when the restaurant has less than half its tables filled and we waited for ten minutes just to have our drink order taken. All the while the other couple who walked in before us had their drinks delivered and orders taken before we were even noticed. After our drink orders were taken (along with our breakfast order because we had waited so long) we got our drinks but we had received any silverware. The hostess did not provide them, the person who took our order did not provide them, neither did the person who brought our coffee. It would have been nice to ask for some but all the wait staff were huddled at the front not doing anything. When our food finally came we caught someone long enough to ask for some utensils. I mentioned previously that the coffee was good and would love to have more but the only time a refill was offered was after we had finished our meal. I really wanted to like Eggs Up Grill and the food was delicious but in going to a restaurant there is a basic level of service that is expected and if it is not there I can’t be. I hope everyone who goes there enjoys the food as much as we did and hopefully has a better experience with the staff. I know everyone has not had the same experience as I and my hope is this was an isolated incident. 5 stars for food, 2 stars for service. UPDATE 11/2/2021- Per their request I emailed Eggs up grill on Oct 5, 2021 as they wished to connect with me directly. After almost a month I have not heard from them at all.
