This location has existed for dozens of years, I’ve lived in Springfield almost my whole life and have never, by chance, visited.
It’s a pretty cute restaurant, having obviously kept its original decor.
We especially love the tenders and the fish. I really enjoy the Bonsai dipping sauce as well.
Our disappointments, however, are that the mashed potatoes are instant and that we can not eat the green beans OR the baked beans because there’s pork in both. I sure wish there were more choices in the ways of sides, but the chicken is really good.

Double check your order when you receive it. The automated ordering idea is a fiasco!
No butter or honey with the biscuits. No bonsai sauce, which is my favorite. Once you’re home, it’s too late. They’re never busy, so I’m not sure why they need help from AI, and yet they’re STILL not able to include all that the customers have asked for in the bag. Plus… our Mac and cheese was burned, and the potato wedges were old and hard. Maybe they need AI to produce the food as well. What a train wreck.

I would have a picture but I always eat it up every time I get ahold of em I absolutely think the potato wedges from Lee’s are the best potato wedges I’ve ever had I litterly just go for the wedges most of the time so good the chicken is also good but I love me some potatoes

Always get a receipt and check order before you leave the area. I knew I should have when the automated lady took my order. When I got home I saw the green beans were odd and then the fact I got spicy chicken was the kicker. The AI lady even told me famous back. Lesson learned

Our visit on 8/27/25 was disappointing as was one about 3 weeks prior. We agreed to try them again which I wish we would have not. The food was very diapointing..we ordered 1 breast 3 thighs 1 large mashed potatoes and gravy,baked beans, and cole slaw 6 biscuits….the chicken was not entirely cooked raw and slime in the middle our order $25.23…ck # 213…I guess that is why our order only was because we were given 3 individual sides…the time before we ordered 2 breasts 3 thighs the same sides chicken under cooked then also…the price total i’m not sure but I believe was $42.00….I think they will get it fixed can u make specials for 2…

Sept. 6 2025-Went through the drive through around 7:20pm. Asked for ketsup, bbq sauce, buffalo sauce. The girl at the window seemed like she didn’t want to be there. Handed me a bag with my order. I thought, I better check before leaving the parking lot. Sure enough, no ketsup, bbq or buffalo sauce. I had to go back through the drive through to get them. This has happened twice in the past month. The workers at the window need to be trained on how to read the orders. I don’t think she really cared so she just handed me the bag. Also, I had ordered a chicken sandwich. When I opened it up at home, the chicken was cut in half. Not the bread. No idea why. I’m going to avoid this place for a while.

Updated 3-11-25 I picked up food from Lee’s tonight on Palm Road and was sadly disappointed. The spicy dippers combo tonight came with four miniature dippers that wouldn’t have fed my granddaughter let alone an adult. Now I do not know if this was just them having a bad night or the company downsizing portions but for a restaurant that prides themselves on quality it should really make sure that the quantity is what the customer is paying for. I’ll give them another shot but if I’m getting kids meals for adult prices you’ll be the last chance I give them.
Lee’s is the superior chicken restaurant in my opinion. Their chicken is better than KFC hands down. Their gravy is superior to all other fast food chicken places too. I prefer their spicy dippers with honey mustard sauce to other menu options. If you are looking for good chicken this is the place for you.

I love this place every time I visit Springfield however this time the food was not fresh and the biscuits were hard chicken and the fish I had were dry a little disappointed however she was friendly taking my order and forgot to give forks and napkins to wipe our mouths , better food next time I hope.

Placed an online order in the parking lot. It said the order would be ready in 25 minutes. So we waited. Go in the store 30 minutes later and they haven’t even started the order. Then ask “do you want to wait on it?” ♀️ We have already paid and waited 30 minutes. OF COURSE we want the food we have already paid for! What is the point of ordering and paying ahead if you don’t start the order?! Do better! One hour for a fast food restaurant and it was only an 8 piece meal!!
