Wife was scared to go in from the looks of the exterior, and myself I hadn’t been there since my younger days making arrests, all the agents would meet either for coffee before or dinner after an arrest to unwind, always was good food and service and I dont think its changed a bit, just needs a good paint job, other than i was thrown off by the coney dog bun used for the sub but none the less it was tasty, could have been better with an actual sub bun, everything was falling off as I ate it because it was so narrow, wife enjoyed her meal as well, the pickle slices are tasty too! Great service prompt and fair prices!

It appeared as I had kicked her dog and how dare I even ask that question. She very rudely pointed out a table.
I will never come back to this restaurant. Seems to be a constant theme with this chain.

Nice local Americana restaurant basic breakfast with large portions, service was excellent, food tasted great the omelette has so much flavor and my mushroom were fresh. They must cook these in butter it had so much flavor. A little too much cheese for me, I just scraped it off my wife on the other hand loved hers the feta cheese was excellent on her Greek omelette.

This restaurant is 2 shades of bright blue, Hard to miss! Plenty of parking, servers are nice, no GF options, soybean oil in fryers. I had a chicken salad, it was awesome!! Come early! I believe they close at 2pm

Great spot to catch a quick bite! Super casual & laid back (which I love). The portions are very good for the price, & prices are super affordable. Very good spot to bring friends or family, especially kids which is a huge plus in my book. My server was nice, she was very busy but on a Sunday morning I expected that. Still very friendly & speedy service. & a huge thank you to the chef, my food was delicious!

It was move in day at Grand Valley State University for our daughter, and we wanted to have breakfast with her before we drove back home. First we tried IHop, but they had a 40 minute wait. Next we tried Cracker Barrel, and they had an hour and a half wait. So, I Googled, “Breakfast restaurants near me.” And The New Beginnings Restaurant popped up on my radar. I called and they said there was only a five minute wait, and since they were only a few minutes drive from Cracker Barrel, we decided to come here. And we are thankful we did. A generous menu selection was topped off by generous portions and great taste. My wife said the coffee was pretty good, and she’s critical. My daughter enjoyed her waffles, bacon and hash browns, and my wife and I enjoyed our scrambled eggs and ham with toast. Come here for the generous, great tasting food and you’ll forget the IHops and Cracker Barrels exist.

Great to see this place is still going strong! Consistently a great place to go to eat. Food, service and atmosphere are spot on. The biscuits and gravy are to die for!! The rest of the food on the menu is above expectations as well. The food came to the table quickly. Perfect temperature and prepared correctly. The food looked as good as it tasted!
Update: After about 500 meals I’ve had at this location only once did I have to ask them to pop my meal in the microwave today. I think for my first problem here that says a lot! Food was still great and It was handled quickly. Great job.
