We went through the drive thru at LJS last night and ordered a 12 piece meal. We asked for half fish and half chicken. After we paid they told us to pull into space 1 and they would bring the order to us. I assumed they had to cook the order fresh.
When they brought our order the lady gave us the bags and said y’all have a nice night. I just knew the order was going to be right. I opened the box to count everything. Wouldn’t you know it, two pieces of chicken were missing!
I always check because of bad experiences with this location leaving items out.
Months ago my Husband picked up this same order here and we were missing two pieces of chicken.
Before when we have gotten food from this location something is always missing. I don’t think we’ve ever gotten an order from this location and it’s been correct. That’s why I checked.
I sent Monty back in the restaurant with everything including the receipt to get the two pieces of chicken. He came back out and said it’ll be 8 minutes.
Questions:
Didn’t they tell us to pull around to wait on our order so they could cook it fresh? How do you mistake six pieces of chicken for four every time you sell a 12 piece meal?
Is this your way of saving money by intentionally leaving food items out thinking that your customers won’t look before pulling off?
So we were there sitting in the parking lot longer waiting for two pieces of chicken.
It’s not that bad if it’s just a mistake but this has happened so many times that I don’t think it could possibly be unintentional.
I used to like LJS but after last night I don’t think we will ever go there again.
The hush puppies were different and didn’t have any flavor at all. They just tasted like bread and grease. There was so much batter on the chicken that there was only a sliver of meat hidden inside. The fish was good. Nope! I’m done with y’all!

Been a while since we ate at a LJS. This one didn’t disappoint. Nothing like deep fried cod fish with malt vinegar. Glad we found it. Being a Stingray owner, I was happy to see a Corvette on the one wall. Their murals were colorful & pleasing and the food took us back in time as well.

Food is good and all that. They gave me the wrong cheesecake and drink which is no biggie. I think it’s time to clean/filter the grease though…I don’t like eating dirty food.

I have not ate at LJS in several years & the 1st thing I noticed is how small the Fish & Shrimp have gotten. They used to be double that size. The taste is still there and the customer service was good but it really wasn’t worth the price.

2 PC. Fish & 6 Shrimp is tasty. Med. sized tea, plenty of condiments + my senior discount was $11.49. Staff helpful, facilities clean. Its got my vote.

What do you get when you have fast food and seafood? You have Long John Silvers. Of course you don’t have to get fish, there are other options as well. This particular LJS is also an A&W so you can get burgers or a hot dog. I like this location. We never have to wait long for our food.

This LJS on Blackstock Rd is awful. My chicken planks were so small! The drive thru was broke, had to order at the window! Sat in drive thru for 45 min! So disappointed!
