A nice cozy bar tucked into the neighborhood near the Little league World Series Complex in South Williamsport. The mountaineer lounge serves up good American cuisine at great prices. The staff is always very friendly and attentive when we dine here. A great place for burgers and wings!

This was one of my regular haunts back in my early 20s. Cheap drinks and a laid-back attitude. What’s not to love. They have several different beers on tap and several more bottled drinks. This is also one of the places where you can get either Coke on tap or Pepsi in a can. As a hard core diet Coke drinker, I can’t stand Pepsi so I get it when you go the a restaurant and they are serving the one you don’t like. Here it’s not a problem.
Now that I’m on my (eeekkkk) late 30s I’m more about the food than drinks. So we came here for dinner. I ordered a Black and Gold salad. Highlight of the meal, the pickled eggs. They are fantastic. Salad itself was delicious.
My husband got the Fried Haddock meal. The piece of fish was huge. As a true southern boy he wasn’t a fan of the Tarter with sweet pickles but loved the fish.
For being laid back the place is clean and smoking is outside. Definitely will return when in town.

I’ve been going here for years. Usually the food is ok. Nothing to rave about, but ok. The atmosphere is dingy and dirty. But here is what compelled me to leave this review: two of us went for dinner. We ordered full entrees. For beverages, we both asked for water. When the check came, I could not believe they charged us $1 each for the water. What a slap in the face to your customers.

Deb was very attentive and had a great time in there and just had a couple of drinks the food looked good quick on their feet and left a nice tip for them. Just stopped in again to get something to eat Deb is always fun meatball sandwich was excellent love to go back for the atmosphere thanks, Deb.

Was travelling years ago for work. To this day, Best Reuben I’ve ever had! In house Marble Rye, In House corned beef, amazing steak fries & Cold Beer! What’s not to love. I’ve been Keeping a Tab on this and it’s occured to me it’s definitely time to post a review… Im reminded every time I order one somewhere else!

If your thinking of ordering take out from this place I’d advise against. The last two times I’ve ordered take out from this place the customer service is not acceptable, both the last two times I ordered take out from this place I ordered a large french fries I called they took my order both times I was told it would take 30 minutes both times they had me pay for the food first before they gave it to me, however after paying for the french fries both times I was told they were not done, the first time I waited 30 minutes before I arrived to pick up the food I then waited an additional 15 minutes, this evening I called ordered french fries again was told 30 minutes I arrived in 30 minutes went in once again I paid first the blonde skinny lady then walked over and said to me it’s only been 20 minutes you have 10 minutes to wait she was not polite at all when saying this to me, I went to my car to see what time I ordered and it was actually past 30 minutes I had now waited 40 minutes went back inside the one waitress was on the phone the other lady walked by me twice and acted as if I was not even standing there as she walked by me again I asked if my order was ready she said she would check when she finally came out from the kitchen she informed me that they were not done yet and walked right by as if she didn’t care, the skinny blond on the phone then chimmed in and said that I called at 5:49 I advised her it was actually 5:47 and it was currently 6: 40 well past 30 minutes, they did refund my me my money thank you for that but come on your take out customers are just as important as your dine in customer, your servers need to work on there customer service skills. Very disappointed in the service.

I heard the food was good and decided to pop in. It was extremely dark and the layout is not pretty, to say the least. I had a server pass me, return, and on her third pass, asked how she could help me? I asked if the owner was around and she gave me a disheveled look, and kept saying he’s downtown. I said that was fine, but is there ever a time he’s ever on location? She then just kept yelling “Downtown” lol. At that point I was kind of embarrassed and confused, so I left.
