This was the worse food I ever attempted to eat while living in Washington. It was so fill of oil and VERY SALTY. The food noddles were over cooked. Only chick eggs and a soup of sauce no veggies.
I was charged for a page .25 cent. It wasn’t a thick bag. My chips and napkins were soaked in sauce from it leaking in the bag.

I threw it away in the trash. My co worker tried to eat it for me but it was a waste.

I have often wanted to come here but in the past, it was always super busy, but tonight I decided to come and try. There were a few people here. I was encouraged.

I ordered the Kalbi beef dinner, which came with steamed rice and kimchi, and miso soup for a starter. I also ordered the tako Sunomono For a salad.

The portions were nice, but I was really disappointed in the food. It wasn’t bad, but it was pretty average. The beef was extremely fatty and Had a very soft fat feel in my mouth. It was barely cooked, and at the rare level. it was covered in so much very salty sweet sauce that it was difficult to taste anything but the sauce.

The steamed long grain rice was so overcooked, that it was mushy. It was nice to have a bit of lettuce and tomato and cucumber as a salad, with the cabbage kimchi and pickled daikon and carrot. The kimchi was very strong, as it might have been a little older. Nothing wrong with that, but the kimchi I ate tonight would have been better turned into kimchi soup. The miso soup was pretty standard, but it had a lot of body with the tofu and the seaweed in it. It was good.

The octopus Sunomono was good, and had nice fresh cucumber, a lot of seaweed, and three pieces of octopus. The dressing was a little bit light, and I would have liked to have tasted a little bit more vinegar.

I did take some rice and some of the Kalbi beef Home with me, the box kept opening up because it didn’t snap shut properly. The waitress told me that that’s the way it was supposed to be. It kept popping open. I felt as if it was too much to trouble that I mentioned that.

Though I didn’t eat sushi, I did find that the sushi chef was very friendly and talkative, and I will probably go back sometime to try the sushi. I hope that they use different rice for their sushi rice.

It was expensive, topping over $30 including the tax. I’m not sure that this meal was worth it. I make this at home myself, and would enjoy it more.

I will likely again come one more time to see if the experience at the sushi bar is better.

It’s a cozy restaurant, with Japanese sushi spot vibes, and the menu is pretty extensive. The server/hostess was attentive, and friendly. We came in to try their sushi, it looked very nice, and was priced a little on the high side. Sorry to say, even tho the fish was fresh, the rice was under seasoned and too mushy. Maybe their menu items other than sushi are good. But, I won’t say I will be back for the sushi unfortunately. There is a serious lack of conveyor belt sushi places out here in Kitsap county. And there aren’t many sushi places in general.

Read updates below: Really really good sashimi! Thick cut fish that practically melts in your mouth. I love the amount of vinegar they put in the sushi rice as well. Very tasty! Well worth the money. You’d be hard pressed to find a sushi place that gives you so much food. Please add more tocoyaki to the order!
Updated: ordered the fried rice and pad thai. The fried rice was mostly tasteless and the pad Thai was not good at all. There was a powdery texture to the noodles and the tofu was like leather. They make sushi good but everything else is a hit or miss.
Updated again: 8/12/2025. I don’t know what’s happened to the restaurant but it’s definitely declined since the first time we went there. Initially, I gave it a five star but since then we’ve eaten here a couple times and it progressively has gotten worse. I’m not sure if they changed the chief or what happened but I don’t think I’ll be eating here anymore. This time I ordered the Thai red curry, which was watered down and had rice noodles rather than rice. Many of the carrots had bad spots on them as you can see from the pictures, but they were just throwing in with the rest of the vegetables. The vegetables were very large and they even had tomatoes cut up in it, which is rather strange. Anyway, I definitely do not recommend the red Thai curry.

A++ sushi place. A very surprising find that we read about which is now our top sushi place.

The sushi is fresh, sliced in ample sizes (biggest pieces we’ve ever had), tasty, and affordable. I really recommend Origami. The bubble tea and seaweed salad are also quite excellent. We’ll be back very soon.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been here. I have to say, the revamped menu is good. The inside also has been cleaned up too. The service was good as well. We got some steamed potstickers to start. Girlfriend got the Las Vegas roll and I got the shoyu ramen. Also, we got Vietnamese coffee which wad amazing. The food good. Definitely a big change in flavors. These guys have been around a long time, and hope they continue to service this awesome food!

I enjoyed the restaurant’s ambiance and the service was great. I ordered a Chirashi bowl and a sushi roll. The sashimi was fresh, but the sushi rice wasn’t right – it lacked enough rice vinegar and the rice didn’t smell fresh.

Love, love, love Origami! It’s my go to place for food. The atmosphere is comforting. The staff are very nice. The restaurant is kept well always. Wonderful people and food. I recently got a to-go order of a Philadelphia roll (so good), miso soup, and takoyaki. Definitely give this place a try if you haven’t already and be sure to try a variety of their foods.
