Fun and casual atmosphere! They had the live game on when we walked in. Servers are so friendly, beer is cold, food is good. Its just the thing you want when you visit a so cal beach ⛱️

I just went to Aloha grill on Main Street Huntington Beach to celebrate the birthday of one of my friends (4/1/2026) and as soon as I arrived the security guard behaved in such a racist and discriminatory way that he made me and my friends who were already inside go to another bar. I gave him my Peruvian passport (I’m 22) and without telling me anything he told me, you can’t come in, get out of here, I told him, you’re kidding, right? And I laughed and he told me no, to leave. I said good night and went down the stairs, then my group of friends had to go somewhere else, terrible experiencie with that security with tattoos on his face, about 6 feet and with the voice that i could hardly even talk. I don’t know how he will treat other people but if that security is still there we won’t go back.

So it was a “seat yourself” situation, but it took like a bit for a server to come. There was two groups who came after us but they left. The music was all rap during the night so it was unsettling for a Hawaiian themed restaurant. Also the back of the restaurant was rather dim and congested with furnishings. It was interesting they had vegetarian options, but I went safe with the jumbo shrimp. The prices for an appetizer like this is too expensive in my opinion, but I enjoyed it and the sweet chill sauce.

Overall, food was average and service was mediocre. How this place is rated 4.5 stars is bewildering to me.

Fantastic spot for fresh flavors and great drinks! I had a poke bowl, and it was absolutely delicious—super fresh fish, perfect seasoning, and great portions. To top it off, I enjoyed a refreshing michelada that was perfectly balanced and packed with flavor. Great food, great vibes—definitely coming back!

What I witnessed on Thursday night was extremely disturbing. Several staff members were visibly intoxicated and were fighting with each other behind the bar. The owner was sitting at a table with friends, clearly drunk, eating chili cheese fries while this behavior was happening as if it were completely normal.

The bartender continued serving alcohol to people who could barely stand. At one point, a staff member began yelling and cursing at a table. When that table went to close their tab, an intoxicated employee started yelling at them and then grabbed a customer by the neck. The customer threw the employee to the ground in self-defense.

The owner then got up and aggressively confronted the customer. Security rushed over and appeared visibly intoxicated and possibly under the influence of drugs, acting ready to fight rather than de-escalate the situation. Multiple staff members surrounded the customer, grabbing at him while he kept his hands up and repeatedly asked them to stop.

The staff then jumped the customer, and chaos broke out. Throughout the entire incident, the customer did not throw a single punch and was clearly trying to defend himself without escalating the situation.

The owner and staff should be held accountable for their behavior. I do not know the customer personally, but if he or anyone connected to him sees this review, I am willing to provide a witness statement if needed

Super welcoming and friendly 2nd floor tiki bar/restaurant. The decor is very cool with an authentic Tongan tapa cloth and some amazing wood carvings to add to the tiki bar theme. The food was very good and reasonably priced. Restaurant is attached but directly connected to the bar. The wings, tuna, and surf and turf were sooo good!

Most cost efficient protocol for fun zone: 1 Rainbow $11, with the Bacardi 151 floater $2. Fish bowl was great.

The food was good. Service was mediocre. Drinks were also mediocre. It looked like it had pretty good happy hour deals though.

This is one of the best places to hangout in HB. Good food and drinks including the legendary Rainbow. It has a local vibe not available in more touristy spots.
