Found the Alexander City location last year and dined every night for 2 weeks. Working out of town again and found this new location in Sylacauga! Food was 11/10 service was friendly and every single person working was happy and very knowledgable of the menu front to back! Bonnie was a most excellent and friendly server! We have been to this location 3 times in one week! Would recommend to anyone!

I had heard about this place, was able to finally pay a vist, and it was excellent. Seems to be a new building, well lit, looks great. The service was great, a smile on every face. Food was hot and very tasty. Fried shrimp was great, hushpuppies were really good, and Cole slaw very good. They brought both, tarter sauce and cocktail sauce. Got the banana pudding,for dessert, and it was a generous portion. Will surely return.

This was our second time at The Wharf, so I have two separate experiences to give my review from. Both times everything was very good. The place is very clean, well managed, staff is extremely friendly, food and service are excellent. Even for a busy Friday night, both food and service were good. We tried the fried green tomatoes (EXCELLENT), I had the shrimp tacos with garlic green beans (yes, weird combo but I wanted to try the green beans), and my husband had the Cajun shrimp and grits. He said that was the best grits he’s ever had! Prices are what I would consider average; not cheap, but not overpriced either. Overall, we definitely recommend!

Firstly, food was great. That’s about it. The delegation of order taking is nothing I’ve ever seen. You order at the front like it’s fast food, you sit down like a restaurant. So if you go there for the first time you don’t really get any sort of idea what’s really available. There’s a bar but no drink menu…and the staff had absolutely no idea what drink they sold. We asked for a voodoo rangers, one 22 oz and their half sized drink. We received two 22 ozs..which was fine considering how confusing ordering drinks ended up being. The staff has no idea how to properly work a floor. Absolutely no communication amongst them, we got checked on almost every 5 minutes by a different person and couldn’t really enjoy our meal in peace. Again food was great, just such a strange restaurant setup. I’d recommend if you don’t have another seafood place to go to.
