Stopped here with friends for a wonderful BBQ experience! The bartender was friendly & personable. The food was fresh, tasty & delish.
You can pick your sides & portions
or go all with three meats. We had the brisket x 3 & smoked turkey, cornbread, Cole slaw, apple beans. The possibilities are endless. We really enjoyed the Thai chili cauliflower too! Our friends took their dessert home with them but the carrot cake looked fabulous.

We came in after a hike and absolutely loved our meal. The turkey was deliciously juicy and smoky. The ribs are a must. They fall off the bone and the barbecue sauce is spectacular! Brisket was tender and the creamy macaroni and cheese pairs perfectly with the meat and sharp picked onions. Their homemade sausage was also very nice. The price to portion radio is incredible and we had the best leftovers later that night. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great bbq in the area!

Reaaaaally delicious food. The brisket was amazing. The wings were crispy and packed with flavor. The cornbread was perfect… everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. The lady’s where very attentive and so cool and down to earth. Great for a big family dinner or just you and your honey. Either way you have to try it.

I’m an AMATEUR backyard bbq pit master lol and have eaten bbq in just about every spot in the northeast and 5-6 spots in Texas as well as other locations. Their brisket can go head to head against any brisket I’ve ever had.
Before our Texas trip 2 years ago we wanted to have handsome devil before we left to see how it matched. We had great bbq down there but you could not say the Texas spots had better bbq then handsome devil.

Wow is all I can say after eating this amazing BBQ. From the moment we got our bourbon till the banana pudding we were blown away. The staff, the food, and the beverages were all way above what we expected. This place is a must go! It has outdoor and indoor dining, great space for two top or 30 top. I can’t say enough good about this place. If you like real deal BBQ just go. You will love it as much as I have. I just left and want to go right back again. Hands down the best BBQ in NY. It just doesn’t get any better than what they are doing there.

There’s great restaurants all around us, but every now and again you have the sincere pleasure of stumbling onto the one that changes you. Handsome Devil is one of those rare gems. The owner and his staff have poured their pride and love into everything here. The brisket is perfection with a sauce that rides the carefully crafted line of not too sweet and not too spicy. The Smoked Turkey with Alabama BBQ sauce was downright killer. The cornbread was moist in the center with a crisp crust and was packed with flavor. Potato salad that gets better with every bite. And don’t forget the sweets! Hand pies, carrot cake with buttermilk icing, banana pudding and more! I’m a chef but these folks are true artists. Make this restaurant your new fav as I know it’s now mine!

Not sure about the reviews with comments of servings, price or quality. Went as group of 5 & everything was %!!! I order 1/4lb servings and was more than satisfied!
The ordering is simple, awesome chef/pitmaster was happy to explain and offer serving suggestions. He had just sliced into the most beautiful barked slow smoked brisket, I asked if could have burnt end, he served it right up!! WOW! – this is real BBQ! Smokey, warm, fat rendered out, moist, rosey red smoke ring. The pulled pork was moist, small amount of heat, tender, just delicious. the sides of pickles and pickled onions add great acid. The corn bread was so good, must get. The Cole slaw was dressed to taste dressing and not swimming in liquid- I like more caraway seeds in mine – but this is excellent CS.
I tried one rib and was excellent, comes off bone but doesn’t slide off, which is sign of overcooking/steamed or-for inconsistency in storage temps.…. The owner and staff absolutely know the craft of slow & low and the quality of food shows it!!!! – nice ring, perfect smoke. I tried sauces, very good BUT this is real smoked BBQ – can stand on own with no sauce, the Devil knows his craft!!!!
The bar is well stocked, lots of great bourbons, local beers – although I had a Texas Steiner, ice cold and pairs great with smoked meats- bar tender was very nice and checked in on us.
Will be returning, will be getting sandwich and hot links next time.
This is real Bbq, is 100% worth $ and trip.
