Stopped in over the weekend with my family to try out this new place. We were excited to see a new restaurant in the Ashland area!
We were seated promptly when we arrived. Also we had a great view of the bay where we were sitting. All of the young adults that were working there were very pleasant and attentive.
Had no problems getting our drinks and making our order. One of my daughters ordered the mac and cheese and it was excellent. My wife raved about the salad bar and how that was such a cool option. The cheese curds I had ordered were hands down the best curds I have ever ate.
The reason for the four star review is because of the burgers themselves. They were bland and had an off putting texture. Overall though we still had a great meal here.

Wandered in around 11:30am on a Friday. Seated right away. No idea what to expect. Ordered 3 different burgers, all tasted excellent! The one with fried cheese curds, deep fried pickled jalapeños and bacon won though. Duh!The salad was super fresh and the soup was also very good. Tried an Oreo milkshake and that was great as well.
We couldn’t finish half our meal. As we were packing up our leftovers, happily stuffed bellies, we all decided we needed to return before leaving town. What else can I say? Oh, very clean, from salad bar to bathrooms to staff who were also pleasant and attentive.

Not only is the place adorable and very clean. But the staff is wonderful, very friendly and the food is amazing. The cheese curds were so delicious. We both had burgers and we loved them. Quick service. Reasonably priced. And just an overall fun experience. Can’t wait to go back. ❤️

Be ready for a surprise! The outside deceives you! Inside decor is so fun and welcoming. I had the BLT. Very good sandwich. Also tasted the burger wrap which was mighty tasty too! Our waitress was super friendly. We were able to move tables when we realized we could see the lake from the back of the restaurant. Also offered us a free refill on our strawberry lemonade to go which was super yummy!

We drove from Bayfield to the Burger Barn and found the 16-mile drive to Ashton well worth it for a family of seven. Prices are less than the restaurants in Bayfield and All the food was delicious from the burgers, BLT, salads, to the chicken wrap. Highly recommend this restaurant for families.

Seriously amazing food! Literally the best cheese curds I’ve had! The service was amazing. The parking was easy. This place has it all- cute gifts & toys, the decor is charming and comfy, the service was perfect, the food was perfect and they even have ice cream to pick from and take with you! We will be back!

There is not many choices for food in small towns in northern Wisconsin. The Burger Barn was a great choice! Their loaded cheese curds with fries, onion rings, pulled pork & bbq sauce was amazing. Burgers were solid as well.

This was hands-down the best burger I have ever had in a very very long time. I also got a side of cheesecurds, oh my goodness were they delicious! It was so amazing! I want to keep going back and keep trying everything they have to offer!

Definitely get the strawberry lemonade, it has real strawberries and lemons. Bacon cheeseburger did not disappoint. French fries with the barn sauce were also delicious. Was initially not interested based on the name, but it was worth the visit.
