I don’t normally leave reviews. But the kid behind the counter grumbled about adding more lettuce when I asked for more lettuce because apparently he already added extra lettuce.
So, to his mumbled point, yes: adding more lettuce to my sub as it was did make the sandwich rather difficult to close. Yet I’ve had Sandwiches from JJ with more lettuce than this, and was still able to close it. Why? Well because those other Sandwiches were correctly cut for a sub. Proper cutting of a jimmy johns sub (1-6) is supposed to be much closer to the bottom of the bread so that there’s more space in the top that’s been gutted to fit all of the sandwich contents. The cut on *my* sub was made in the location of a club sandwich– so of course there wasn’t enough room for the lettuce.
And on top of it– the cut was made on the wrong side of the bread as well. With the cut side of the sandwich facing the customer, (the slide made from cutting a full loaf in half) the opening to the sandwich contents should be facing to the right. So now– not only did the sandwich not have enough space to fit the amount of lettuce I would have liked. But the contents are also facing the direction of the hand I usually hold the sandwich in, making it messier to eat.
The flavor itself is fine. Of course. And the other people there were, you know, just doing their jobs. But the dude who grumbled about the wants of the customer should really probably save his grumbling for after he actually follows standard jimmy johns sandwich-making practices.

First time trying a whole new sandwich spot as a New Yorker in Ohio.

They definitely give you more meat than I’m used too without having to ask compared to NYC. The taste profile could be profoundly better but it’s a rest stop so it’s expected and as good as it gets.

The price point was amazing too, I think it was $8 for an entire Sandwich with chips and drink. Would’ve paid at least $16 in NYC for all that

The staff was amazing and cracked jokes on my city accent. Appreciate the love and thanks for the meal!

Wow! Best Jimmy John’s experience ever? I think so. For starters, I look down and not only is the condiment tray completely filled, but every item is perfectly displayed. (Who does that? Answer: Someone who takes obvious pride in what they do down to the smallest detail!) Then before I can even insert my card to pay, my sandwich is being handed to me! So impressed. The sandwich was great too. Exemplary work guys! Keep it up!

I ordered the #12 and there is no turkey on my sandwich. A $10.00 sandwich with no meat. I would like a credit to my account for this. Do better Jimmy John’s on Limeridge Rd.

Just tried to order one of their new toasted sandwiches and the kid behind the counter said they just turned the oven off for the night. Asked him what time they close, he said 8pm, it was 7pm. Why y’all shutting down when you’re still open for a whole nother hour? Lost out on about $20 just from me. Wonder how the general manager/owner of this place would feel to know his/her employees are costing them money

One thing managers and employees need to understand when you close at 10pm, you start cleaning at 10pm. Not 30min before so you can leave at 10pm. Management is not doing their job. Especially a location where you dont get food for miles and miles on a toll road. Some of us depend on food late and dont get a luxury to pull over anywhere. Just disappointed with all the protest to increase minimum wages but still get minimum effort.

Y’all. Come on now. This is just sad.

This 10$ sub needs a therapist. It tasted okay, but it was that okay you tell family when you don’t actually want to tell them how you’re doing.

I’ll try again at a later date.

Guess it depends on the crew that is working. The crew that served me was very cordial. The young lady at the register is one of the nicest people I’ve encountered. Fast efficient and clean area to eat.
