Top quality fish and chips!
I don’t usually go for battered cod as from other fish and chip shops I find it mushy and I end up feeling nauseous but sea salt is different, crispy batter every time!
Staff are kind and service is amazing and I like how you can see that the food is cooking from the moment it comes out the freezer or bucket to when it is be packaged up.
Very good experience and my go to every time!

Just popped in for a quick Saturday lunch. Slightly long wait for chips (they were cooking each portion seperately presumable to reduce waste) chips looked great but tasted more like chips from a Chinese, not keen on the taste (maybe the oil they used.) large portion of chips £3. Staff busy doing there job, not overly friendly, not particularly rude. Just an average local chippy on an estate.

Best fish and chips in 23 years!! Been living in Canada so no competition in honesty. Chips were just amazing. Batter light and crispy and the cod moist and flakey. My wife had battered sausage and just was in heaven! Thanks guys keep up the great work!

My first takeaway from Sea Salt, overall a okay experience.
As a chef and a experienced diner, if i had to give a few words of advice to help raise this business i would reccomend a few improvements on the food and service without sounding picky although i’m sure people love you.
1. Give customers a time frame and a ticket or a receipt rather than calling out there meals whilst in a queue.
2. Try not to pre fry too many portions of chips as a second fry becomes too well done and hard (I only live 2 minutes away and mine were rock solid as shown in the pic).
3. Either the batter was stored into a very cold fridge storage area or a more frequent oil change is required as the large Cod fish batter was soaked in oil and hard on the outside, apologies if you have had a very extremely busy day and couldn’t change the oil today.
Overall fantastic value and good service.

Really nice fish and chips, as of today my favourite chip shop! Tasty chips and large portion of cod.
Update: I visited again on 30/9/20 all staff members were wearing masks and the food was just as delicious as last time. I managed to get a photo before I ate it this time too So I’ll up it to 5 stars, well done Sea Salt.

Great service although the regular fish size can differ hugely. Sometimes its more on the small size.
Update…Went in today, at 6pm and very disappointed that no fish available, so had pie and regular chips, was very disappointed at the quantity of chips, the portion size was so small I had to pay extra to get a decent amount of chips!
Further update 14/06/24
Ordered fish and chips, chips really greasy and the fish was all batter no fish and the edges of the fish were not edible as really hard. Will need to find a new chippy!!! A real waste of money.

Went back, hoping for an improvement…. £37! Sorry but £9 for 2 lots of chips is expensive, especially when they were tiny chips that came from small spuds. £7.50 for 6 chicken nuggets is a disgusting mark up. Will not be back. If going to spend nearly £40 will have a better take away than a chippy!!!

If you’re looking for top-tier halaal fish and chips, this spot is a must-visit! The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside, and paired beautifully with golden, well-seasoned chips. Every bite was packed with flavor—easily an 11/10 experience!
On top of that, the brother serving us was incredibly hospitable, making sure we were well taken care of and adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Great food, great service—can’t ask for more! Highly recommend! He was closing up and stayed open for our sake, incredibly kind and accommodating
