Didn’t particularly care for the Queso, but everything else was great.
The experience lacking in the wait staff is made up for in their kindness.
Was packed out when we got there, but they kept things moving well enough to not have too long of a wait.

Wife wanted something different and this is where we landed. Nice! This place is great!
The menu is extensive with both familiar and not so familiar options, so spend a little time browsing. They also have specials (at this writing) Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
I had the Texas Chimichangas and was regretting not getting something more exotic until they served them up! The queso was rich and flavorful and the Chimis were fried to a perfect crispy goodness. I had beef, which was not ground beef, but diced brisket – yum! Give it a try.
My wife had the brisket taquitos, which were also perfectly crispy and delicious.
They’ve got a good rice recipe going here and the beans were great too.
The place also offers several house sauces. We tried the chipolte sauce and, the one I wasn’t too sure about, the cream cheese jalapeno sauce. Both were delicious, but be warned the jalapeno sauce had a bit of a kick that grew the more I ate. Nothing too hot, but more pep than your run of the mill tex-mex place. The chipolte sauce is pretty strong with a rich smokey flavor.
So, if you’re looking for something different or have a hankering for Venezuelan inspired food, this could be the place for you!!

Ignored the “hate” reviews, went here for my wife’s birthday (she loves Mexican food, not my favorite)… service was amazing, food was amazing and even I’d go back for sure. We all enjoyed it especially when service and food quality around McKinney to Anna has been poor lately (I was a long time service industry person so I know things happen and understand but that sentiment does not apply to a select few others and especially not to here). I’d say it’s a little pricy, but well worth it. Not an every day for sure, but worth every other week at least, so mid ground probably on price. However, definitely worth saving up for for the next time to dine out. Thank you for the great food and great experience!

Wanted to really like this place. Unfortunately they should probably think about a different line of business because customer satisfaction is not one their assets. I’ve been here before and ordered in person. At the time they had no online presence at all. I understand a new business takes time to get going, but, here it is, almost a year later and I find them on Facebook and on google maps with pictures of their food. Still no menu. I call to place an order based from pictures at two different phone numbers and……ring ring ring. Then I check the reviews and realize that it was probably a good thing they did not answer. I don’t see them sticking around in Anna with this business savvy.

I think they may have rushed the opening a bit, I suspect many of the current issues will get better over time. The food was good, the queso was pretty watery and the chips were thicker than I like, but that’s more personal preference. They have not gotten the menus for the anna location yet, so they’re using the Sherman menus which don’t exactly line up with what’s available and they have not gotten their liquor license yet, our waiter said it’d be about 2 months for that. The service was good considering that they just opened.

Food was good. The server needs a lot more practice. Table of 3. The man forgot to place my order of the bacon wrapped shrimp. Then he brought out our ticket right after the other two first got their plate. There was a hair in the corn tortious. Main complaint the servers!!
