We arrived at 215 after driving an hour and a half from Craftsbury, waited 20 minutes for a table ( that’s fine we knew we would have to wait), by that time I’ve counted only 11 tables occupied all have already been served. It’s currently 415, I’m still in the dining room waiting with my children to be served and have been told repeatedly that the food will be out in a minute. I’m not one to walk out after ordering food but come on…. The dinner rush is already starting and we have only been brought the side salads that are supposed to come with our meals. Update… our food came and less then 10 minutes later boxes were put on our table, then the check.

Great spot if you have a craving for fried seafood and don’t want to drive to the coast.

Tozier’s Restaurant appears to have indoor dining which I would have preferred. However, it was hard to tell if they did or didn’t due to the signage out front.

I ended up going to the take out line and ordered 1 scoop of Black Main Bear in a cup. The ice cream was a bit grainy, but had an overall good flavor.

In addition, I ordered the Haddock plate to go. The fish was a good portion and well cooked. It was dipped in a batter and deep fried.

The fries that came with it were on the salty side, but cooked perfectly crisp. The served the fish on the top of the fries which made some of the fries slightly soggy. If you hate soggy fries. Order them on a separate plate. Overall the fries were crispy, but too salty for me.

I gave a score of three – I was leaning toward a 4- because the people taking and giving the orders were lackluster at best. I don’t expect a lot, but a smile and a please and thank you would go a long way.

I say give this place a try. You might love it. I was satisfied with my meal.

Wonderful service, large portions, and nice Vermont sporting atmosphere. The food was top-notch for reasonable prices. Photo was after I’d already had some of the fried whole belly clams.

Wonderful dinning experience with our family. Seafood was mouth watering good, amazing mountain views out the window, wood decor inside, exceeded expectations in many ways.

Food is average. Baked stuff shrimp was small and underwhelming. Server was not attentive at all – late in greeting us and never checked back after food was served until the end of our meal. Order was screwed up (asked for whole belly clams and got clam strips instead). Server came back after she was told about this and had the nerve to complain to us that the screw-up was coming out of her pocket! Parking is a free for all and most resides on the opposite side of a busy state road. Will never go back again.

Extremely disappointed with our takeout last night! This place is usually great. Not sure what happened. The menu is very misleading. A seafood platter should come with the mentioned. It doesn’t state to make a choice of one thing. Ordered 3 seafood platters and an order of scallops. Paid $98.28 for 3 meals that looked like this! I have a food scale so I weighed it. That’s how sad it was. 3.1 oz clam strips, 3.1 oz haddock and 4 oz of fries not pictured. The fries were EXTREMELY salty my face was sweating! The prices or menu need to be altered. This is far from $100 worth of food!!

Bad . Everything tastes the same. Ordered scallops and got haddock. Bad oil to fry in. Yuck. I don’t recommend at all. Deer heads on the wall so out dated . Nostalgic for sure but time to move on and food not great

The food is outstanding. It was the best seafood I have had in a long time. Very fresh and flavorful. The portions were huge – I have enough left over for another meal tomorrow. Our server was so friendly and positive in the midst of what was a very busy Saturday night. My only regret is that I had no room for dessert. The dessert menu looked absolutely decadent! I will definitely return to Tozier’s.
