Love that this little Gem has new owners. It’s now clean, with Super Friendly service, timely service , food served hot and everything and I mean everything was delicious. The potatoes were seasoned perfectly, cooked perfectly, not greasy not mushy not hard. Nice tender potatoes. Eggs fresh and delicious. Loved the sausage. Not your run of the mill sausage. This was a nice quality.French toast was hot and fluffy too. Scrambled eggs were fluffy and hot bacon crispy not too much or too little. Even the toast was fresh not hard and it buttered nicely. Kudos to the chef.
Our server was kind and engaging without being overbearing. Coffee was reason enough to stop in. Delicious and plentiful….And a nice tough the prices were great.
Definitely will be back.

If you love eggplant, you have to try their eggplant tower appetizer. It alone will be worth the visit. Fantastic presentation, eggplant is cooked just right, the fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, along with the tomato sauce and a reduced balsamic vinegar sauce add to a great dish. They even have some Mexican dishes for variety. So we ordered a chicken al pastor burrito and a tinga chicken bowl. Great taste and the serving size was very generous for each dish. Authentic Mexican. The atmosphere is a cute, family setting. Service is friendly. Would come back again if we are in the area.

My family and I are in the middle of a complete 1st floor home renovation and decided it was best to eat out for a week instead of trying to cook in the laundry room. As locals to the area, this was actually our 1st time here since it changed management (or possibly owners not sure).
We were NOT forgotten which seems to happen these days at most restaurants – and we aren’t even sure how as we have 3 little kids who are not always the quietest. Lol My husband’s refills came timely and we were checked on about 2 times during our meal. Our waitress was friendly and had good attention to detail.
The food came out in a timely manner, the plates had enough food to fill us and our children and everything tasted VERY good. My husband got a buffalo chicken tenders mean, I got a cheese steak, sides of mozzarella sticks and curly cheese fries, and our children got a personal pan pizza and spaghetti. Everything was wonderful!
The price surprisingly was lower than we had expected. Normally when we go out and order similar food it’s almost $100 if not more. Even a fast trip to McDonald’s is $45 for us. The total came to around $65 I believe.
Very pleased and will be returning again soon as the house is still in chaos.
Thank you for cooking for us, when I couldn’t!! As the owner of the areas premier Camper Rental company, I will be adding this location to my guide as recommended places for my out of town guests to eat!

DELICIOUS! We are staying a few nights in Wallenpaupak and ate at Wally’s for both dinner and breakfast. All of it was very good and reasonably priced.
There are 6 of us and everyone enjoyed their meals. Highly recommend the Eggplant tower! We will be back at Wallys whenever we come back to this area.

I am so glad that this is where I stopped for dinner, and I am so glad I ordered the Pizza Roll. The Pizza Roll is HUGE, like a big stromboli. And mine was baked to perfection – no uncooked dough inside at all. They offer several types of Pizza Rolls; I ordered the Italian one. It has layered meats inside and they are quite flavorful. I asked for all mozzarella cheese instead of half mozzarella and half American … it’s just more wholesome and flavorful that way.
My waitress, Kezz, was super friendly and helpful and informative about the various entrees they make here. She’s cool – she’ll talk with people who want to chat but let you be if you just want to eat and be on your way.

We have been going to Wally’s for breakfast for many years, and their portions are always very good, very generous, and not expensive. The wait staff is always very friendly. Last night we stopped in for dinner and tried entrees off the Mexican menu. What a pleasant surprise! I ordered the Mexican Bowl and it was so generously filled with chicken, beans, rice, cheese, tomatoes, and lettuce that I had to bring half of it home. There are no Mexican restaurants that I know of around Lake Wallenpaupack. So if you’re in the mood for Mexican, head to Wally’s, you won’t be disappointed!! (It’s also a BYOB, so you can bring a bottle of wine).
