Highly recommend Cha Chas Indian Curry for a delicious plate of rice and curry! The portions are plentiful – I was stuffed after downing the rice, dal, mixed veg curry, and cabbage curry. Flavors are all delicious and it’s not spicy at all. Downed it all with a cup of sweet mango lassi. There’s a good amount of seating available and plenty of parking in the area. The owner is awesome. Give this place a try when you crave solid Indian food!

This place was an amazing find in Wahiawa. I think they are relatively new. They have a quick serve menu and a menu they cook on order. We had the chicken biryani, the lamb curry with green beans, potatoes, and chickpeas. The food was as good as any I’ve had in Asia and reasonably priced. I’ll definitely come here again.

Food hits the spot. Generous portions. Great authentic taste. Vegan and gluten free options daily. Samosas are great and the hot Chai tea lattes are delicious. Highly recommend.

I came here for lunch with a friend late last week and was greeted by the owner. He was really nice and talked to us through the specials that they had available for the day. My friend and I both decided to get lamb curry plates with their mixed vegetables and daal. I also added on an order of the samosas which came with a wonderful chutney. It was a bit tart and I think it was tamarind?
It’s nice to see a new food option in Wahiawa–especially an Indian one. I think that this is the only eatery of this style that I know of on this part of the island. Definitely check it out if you have a chance.

To anyone reading this review, I highly recommend trying the mango lassi and spinach paneer with basil garlic naan—both are incredibly delicious! My friend also tried the butter chicken, and it was absolutely perfectly cooked; he loved it. The staff was very friendly, and the prices are reasonable too.

Ordered the lamb curry plate and the chicken curry plate. Both came with two sides and naan. Curry flavor was good, but mild in heat. If you want to try Indian and don’t like spicy, this is a great place to try

Having lived next to Chicago’s Little India and now residing in the Bay Area, I’ve been eating a lot of Indian cuisine over the past 15+ years. Like, dal-and-saag-in-some-form-every-week a lot. And as any local knows, much of the islands’ best food is found in unassuming locations.
This tiny gem is tucked in the corner of the strip mall that abuts Taqueria El Ranchero and Foodland off California Ave. Its menu is small but mighty, and a few of the most popular items are kept in a steam table. The sweet and kind owner happily offered samples, but I knew what I wanted: lamb curry with sides of dal and aloo gobi (spiced cauliflower and potatoes).
I loved everything, including the piping hot, still slightly crisp complimentary piece of naan. The curry was deeply flavored with warming spices, and I remain baffled at how they managed to keep the lamb so lean and yet so tender. I devoured all of the gravy-soaked rice. A gingery, almost citrusy brightness perked up the dal, and the aloo gobi burst with extra savoriness from bits of fresh tomato.
And even at $17-$20 an entree, the plate lunch format allows for unrivaled flexibility; 99.9% of US Indian restaurants are a la carte only, so this lucky-you-live-Hawai’i alternative justifies the price.

Cha Cha’s Indian Curry in Wahiawa is a delightful addition to the local dining scene! The butter chicken and lamb curry were both incredibly delicious, with the perfect balance of spices. The naan and vegetables were also top-notch, making for a well-rounded meal. The bottled water was an additional cost. It’s fantastic to have a high-quality Indian restaurant in Wahiawa, and I highly recommend Cha Cha’s to anyone craving authentic, flavorful Indian cuisine!

Upon opening the front door, was greeted by the ‘Ono aroma of wonderful Indian spices wafting from what proved to be delectable dishes. Ash was a great host, friendly, and the food was already ready, just waiting to be savored. Very lovely and comfortable chairs, tastefully decorated dining area with an upscale atmosphere. Very Fast service. Besides the ready made specials of the day, you may also choose items to be prepared fresh from the Ala Carte menu. Great dining experience. Plenty parking. Several Vegetarian selections available. Fluffy Rice. Tender Naan bread. All items were served hot. Located in the corner of shopping center right by Central Pacific Bank near Longs Drugstore. Great place to bring a Date, Ohana, or friends !
