Had breakfast here on a drive to northern and eastern Colorado. Nice little town. Nice little joint – although it is a small town diner and lacking any interesting vibe. Service was great…super nice lady helping me out. I had the the chicken friend steak and eggs (I am an efficianado). Well done if I do say so myself. Only issue was the various conversations overheard from right-wing, Trump-loving clowns. Not the restaurants fault at all.

Visited Gray’s Café in Ault, Colorado, last week on a friend’s recommendation for breakfast, and as a breakfast lover, I can say it did not disappoint! From the classic breakfast staples to their incredible pastries (seriously, don’t miss the cinnamon rolls! ), everything was absolutely delicious. I only wish I had more room to try it all!

The service was spot on—super friendly, quick, and attentive, even though the café was buzzing with other happy customers. ‍♂️ The cozy atmosphere and charming decor make it the perfect little breakfast spot.

If you love breakfast like I do, this place is a must-visit when you’re in the area. Pro tip: Come hungry because you’ll want to sample everything on the menu. Trust me!

3 words, HUGE CINNAMON ROLLS! This place has that small town charm with huge cinnamon rolls, amazing green chilli burritos, and yummy cinnamon bread. Service was quick even though it was decently busy. Food was great and I loved my experience.

Inexpensive and very good food. We love the chicken fried steak and eggs. The cinnamon rolls toast is awesome too! The ladies waiting tables bust their butt’s to serve you too!

Great breakfast and a homey little spot. A few issues however: 1. I had breakfast while coffee was $2 special but got charged full price, and 2. the waitress doubled the tip I left (which had already been 30%), so much so that I received a credit card fraud alert. So my bill cost me $5 more than expected, which isn’t a huge deal, but I’m obliged to leave a bad review. Adjusting tips, even by only a few dollars is distasteful, and not honoring menu prices is illegal.

Nice little local breakfast place. Their pancakes are fluffy and really delicious.
I had their steak and eggs and the portions are generous and cooked to your specifications.
Lot of locals eat there so it’s usually a tell tell sign of a well kept shop.

I ride my motorcycles to diners and review them. I visited Gray’s Cafe on 26 Sep 21. From what I see, there’s only street parking. I get inside and it’s a nice little dining room. It feels very homey. The coffee was good and they had several types of creamers and sweeteners. Although there was only 1 waitress and 1 cook, my food came out with a quickness. I order the Spanish omelet (pictured) and it was pretty good. The hash browns were a little bland, but a little salt and pepper fixed it right up. I finish my meal and pay my bill. I don’t know how busy this place gets, but this particular Sunday it was a very quiet and pleasant visit.

I box up my leftovers and I order a cinnamon roll to go. The pictures from other reviews show that it’s big, but seeing it in the to go box shows just how MASSIVE it is. I’m taking it home for my wife and I’m sure she’ll try to finish it today. The cook said it will keep and reheat in the microwave well for several days.

Overall, this was a great breakfast! I would visit again.
