Our family is in town for Thanksgiving and were looking for a restaurant close to our hotel. We found a gem at La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant. I had the burrito loco, my wife had chimichanga’s, and our son had the enchiladas supreme. All were EXCELLENT and nice portions too. Great food, reasonably priced and if I lived in Dade City, this would be a favorite. Oh, the Margarita’s are delicious too! It’s definitely a must stop when we are in town.

The food was terrible. I got the fajitas. The meat was overcooked and rubbery. The lettuce and tomatoes on the side plate portions were tiny. (maybe two tablespoons of lettuce shreds that were browning) The Pepsi was flat. There was no cheese on the side plate as was listed on the menu. It was all gross. $30.00 pre-tip for 1 person, inedible food.

We love going to Dade City for its small charm. They have many great restaurants to eat at. It was our first time coming here. They have a wide variety of menu options. We tried the street tacos and guacamole and really enjoyed both. Their Micheladas are excellent, too. Our service was friendly and attentive.

The service here is ALWAYS top tier Gracie was our server and she knocked it out of the the park. She was very attentive and knowledgeable. We got the Birria tacos, margarita, and steak fajita salad and it was to die for! I highly recommend this place to anyone that comes to the Dade City area and wants quality Mexican food

We stumbled upon this amazing Mexican restaurant by accident, and WOW—what a hidden gem! It did not disappoint. The fajitas were hands-down the best we’ve ever had—fresh, flavorful, and that steak was incredibly tender. You could tell the meat was high quality and seasoned to perfection. And don’t even get me started on the quesobirria… so damn delicious we were tempted to order a second round. Everything hit the spot. Can’t wait to come back!

Chips and salsa was excellent. Staff makes you feel like family. Highly recommend. They have live music every Friday from 7-9 every Friday night. I absolutely love this restaurant.

I used to come here a lot but lately I’ve stopped dining here so much. In the last 3 years they’ve changed their menu 4 times. They charge for extra chips and salsa and they bring you a small bowl for 2 people. A quesadilla is $20 now and queso dip is $10 without chips. It’s used to be affordable to eat here now its over $50 just to get lunch. I get inflation is everywhere but this is ridiculous.

I usually like the food here, but today the flautas were very overcooked. The outside was close to being burnt and the meat inside was cooked so much it was hard. The flautas were covered in so much lettuce and cheese that you couldn’t see the flautas until you were actually cutting into them. Very disappointed but I’m sure we will be back. Like I said, it’s usually good.
