Cute little brunch spot in the heart of outremont! The portions are great, albeit a bit pricey! I would recommend the mushroom toast.

I visited this brunch spot on September 20 with friends after seeing it recommended on TikTok and had been looking forward to trying it for some time. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet expectations in terms of service and food quality.

Food : We ordered the French Toast, which turned out to be quite disappointing. Instead of being soft and fluffy, it was uncomfortably too soggy. While the edible flowers added a nice visual touch, the plate had no flavor. The syrup tasted artificial and of low quality. The dish itself felt incomplete for the price, consisting mainly of two slices of French Toast, syrup, flowers, and a few small pieces of fruits —extras such as bacon or cheese required an additional charge.

Service: The service was unfortunately very poor. Our server appeared indifferent and unwelcoming, and it took nearly 30 minutes before our orders were taken—only after we asked if we could place them. A pitcher of water was left on the table, but no one came to check on us during the meal. Each time we needed something, we had to flag someone down. We even had to ask for the bill, and only then did the waiter attempt to be friendly and make conversation. By that point, however, the effort felt insincere since we had essentially received no service throughout the meal.

Atmosphere: The space is decorated with flowers throughout, creating a cute aesthetic similar to what’s often highlighted on TikTok. However, the dining area itself is quite small and feels cramped, and the seating was not particularly comfortable.

Overall, while the café has an appealing look, the experience was underwhelming. I truly wish I could share more positive feedback, but both the service and food quality left us disappointed. In my opinion, it does not live up to the hype.

A cozy brunch spot perfect for Spring. True to its name, Bloomfield is a charming and cozy place that feels especially inviting during Springtime. The service is warm and attentive, making the overall experience even more enjoyable. The space is a bit small so it’s more ideal for small groups.

The grilled octopus can be hit or miss depending on how chewy it turns out, but the Grilled Octopus with Lentils was a standout—savory, tender, and well-balanced with vegetables that were cooked just right.

We also tried the Bloom Omelette, which had a great texture—light, puffy, and juicy. However, it was over-seasoned for our taste. Not a dealbreaker, but a touch less salt would go a long way.

The Pistachio Latte is definitely worth trying—smooth and delicious. We only wish it came in a larger cup!

I recently visited Bloomfield Restaurant with friends, and it was a fantastic experience! The cozy, modern vibe made for the perfect setting for brunch. The menu offered a variety of tasty options, from avocado toast to eggs benedict, all made with fresh ingredients. The portions were just right, and everything was flavorful.

The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxed, allowing us to enjoy our meal without feeling rushed. Whether you’re with friends or celebrating something special, Bloomfield is a great spot for a delicious, laid-back brunch. We’ll definitely be returning!

The Jerusalem platter was delightful!!! Super cute environment with little hanging flowers. The waitresses are all really nice, the food is amazing, it’s a perfect brunch place.

Book in advance!! Otherwise you are unlikely to get a table on weekends.

I recently visited Bloomfield and was really impressed by how beautiful the space is — stylish, cozy, and well thought-out. I also absolutely loved my dish; the avocado toast was delicious, and my pistachio latte was incredible — one of the best I’ve had!

Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. When I mentioned I was taking the avocado toast, the waitress asked if I wanted potatoes. I said no, and she asked what I wanted instead. As it was my first time there, I asked what the options were, and she suggested dips. I assumed one was included with the dish, so I chose the beet dip. She never clarified that sides weren’t included, which led to an unexpected $9 extra charge when I also ordered pita to go with it. Honestly, who adds beet dip to a breakfast order without some kind of bread?

To make matters worse, when the bill came, she had written out the tip amount herself — 18% — based on the new tipping law. While I understand gratuities are customary, I felt pressured into tipping a percentage I wouldn’t have chosen given the service. She didn’t explain the menu, wasn’t friendly, and never cracked a smile.

The food and ambiance at Bloomfield were lovely, but unfortunately, the lack of clear communication and unfriendly service made the experience less enjoyable than it could have been.

Small but cozy.
Fast service and beautiful presentation of the plates.
Nice compact menu and reasonable prices .
What I would liked, bigger cups for the latte.
My wife didn’t like the aremicano.
The omelette is not an omelette, it’s more like a frittata.

A great spot to start your day with a delicious breakfast. The staff were friendly and professional, and I recommend trying their Palestinian eggs.
P.S. It’s best to make a reservation in advance.

This is the kind of place that shows up on your Instagram feed and you think you should try it out , but I wouldn’t recommend it. The place is cramped , the aesthetic is pretty ( if you can call hanging flowers from the ceiling pretty) and food is over priced. We bought the menu to share and it was size for one person barely . The food lacks flavour but is colourful. We ordered extra potatoes and there was half a potato in the dish. The menu said fresh pressed oranges, but it was basically Tropicana. Just instagram pretty but not worth the money you spend
