As soon as we saw the name, we knew we had to go there. It was our first experience of Spudnuts. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the donuts were amazing. They were so good we had to go back again before we left Farmington. They serve a good breakfast burrito too. It’s a Donut shop with chairs and tables, nothing fancy, but it’s those donuts we are going for.

Aloha ,
My wife and I returned back home to visit family and introduced our cousin from Dallas the breakfast burrito… Dang I miss burritos from the southwest….just enough heat to make you know you are back in the southwest! Mahalo to the employees who were so friendly and professional! You guys rock. Thank you again.

The breakfast burritos used to be consistent, but today I gave them another try and it was pretty sloppy. The hash browns were like mashed potatoes, I didn’t see any bacon until I was half way through, and the salsa was watery with very little flavor (I even got the hot salsa). The woman at the drive through window was also kinda rude and curt with her answers before slamming the window shut after I got my order. I think it speaks volumes as how this place is being managed and that’s a real bummer

The moment you walk in you are swept away by the smell of donuts and coffee. But don’t let that fool you, they also serve breakfast burritos and a full menu of all American food. There is a sample tray out and waiting for you to try before you fill up your box with delectable delights. There are specific donuts that you can fill with your choice of creams, fruits, and custards. However, their coffee bar and burritos are equally as awe-inspiring. And if you’re family folk like us, you can meet the grandson and grandfather of the establishment. #getyospudnuts

Stopped in to see if the Spudnuts and fries were as good as I remembered from 30 years ago. What a wonderful treat! It was just as good! Brought me back to my childhood! The donuts were the softest I’ve ever had. The fries and special sauce was so good, we had to order more! Highly recommended! Stop in for an amazingly delicious treat!

I used to love coming here for donuts and burritos. Then, after adding their new items to the menu, I really wanted to try their taquitas but honestly got hooked on the hamburgers. However, today I decided to try the taquitas and get a hamburger just in case I didn’t like the taquitas. This was not during a rush since there was only one ride in front of me, and they left fairly quickly and another vehicle pulled up behind me, but no line.

As usual, I paid and this time I said yes to a receipt, which I usually don’t since they used to be on top of things. They told me to park around the back and my food would be brought out. After receiving it, I parked in a parking spot to double-check everything was there. After taking everything out, I found no taquitas. I thought, “No problem, I’ll just go inside and show them my receipt. It’s just 3 taquitas. What’s the worst that can happen?”

Unfortunately, I left with a sunken heart, my appetite ruined, and NO Taquitas.
It was a rough day and I just wanted these taquitas. Which looking at the receipt, unfortunately, cost me $6.19 for just 3 again, JUST 3. I’m not sure how big or small they are, so I wouldn’t know if it is worth it.

Nevertheless, it seems I paid $6.19 for a 2-minute experience of staff accusing me of trying to score free taquitas. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and went home to take everything out of the bag, still no taquitas. I even checked under all my seats in case they rolled away and even in-between the seats, but still no taquitas.

Since this specific staff member swore, they put it in the bag and claims they made sure another staff member watched them put it in the bag. I think said staff member was there listening to this conversation, but I could tell they obviously didn’t want to be pulled into this. Now I have no doubt staff might’ve seen them put it in A bag, but it just wasn’t my bag. I will, of course, still keep an eye out for my 3 taquitas and will update my review if they roll around. Otherwise, I hope the person that received my 3 taquitas enjoyed it, because I sure didn’t. Next time I’ll make sure to ask staff to wait until after I check my entire bag, so I don’t waste my time and energy just to get accused of trying to score free food when I didn’t even receive what I paid for in the first place. As much time as I took to gather my words, watch someone else eat my food (lost my appetite), and post this, I still haven’t found my 3 taquitas anywhere.

***If some type of management or leadership reads this, please work on deescalating with all staff. I could visibly tell how frustrated the staff were and did not handle this situation professionally. I treated staff like how I wanted to be treated. Unfortunately, I didn’t even get that in return, not even a smile back. Like I mentioned, I already had a rough day, so I did not ask for a manager and took my loss because I could tell no matter what I did or said meant nothing. They just kept repeating they put the taquitas in the bag with a little more hostility each time. I would understand if I took a while to come back for the taquitas, but it took me no more than 5 minutes for this entire interaction. Not sure what kind of protocol you have for that or if there even is one, but I get it this staff member was just defending themselves for something they believe they did. Seems a different system needs to be put in place to show they verified everything’s in the bag and not just claiming other staff members saw them. For example, you might need to go as far as checking off the items on the receipt individually to show staff put the item in the bag. Unfortunately, I saw the ugly side of this staff member for just 3 taquitas that I never got to try and probably won’t since this was my first experience “attempting” to try. I’m writing this because this interaction was silly and shouldn’t have happened but honestly could have been handled better.

Was told by some co-workers that this is the the place for fresh doughnuts. They weren’t wrong. Excellent tasting doughnuts. Bought 3 dozen and co-workers from all departments came and chowed down on them!

The bacon in my burrito was super dry and old. There was a few bugs flying around in with the donuts, was not the normal Spudnuts experience that we’re used to.
