Me and two of my children had dinner recently, and were very happy with the food and service.
We ordered two appetizers, one large pizza and two entrees.
The restaurant provides complimentary bread and olive oil for dipping at the top of your arrival.
The two appetizers were Clams Posillipo and Calamari Fritti. We used the complimentary bread to soak up the buttery sauce in the clam dish. The calamari slices were huge (like mini bracelet sized. Both were delicious!
The “Old Fashioned” was a margharita pizza, and it was good, but we all thought it was a bit over salted.
The two entrees clams over angel hair pasta and veal sorrentina were both sooo delicious!!
Decor could use some updating, but the restaurant was clean and the service was amazing! Shout out to Avery for all her suggestions, politeness and professionalism!

This pizza ain’t it chief. As an Italian from NY who went to culinary school, I’m proud to say I’m not a pizza snob but this was just kinda gross. Got a cheese and pepperoni slice with a soda for 8$ not bad!(so I thought) then I tried the pizza. Needless to say I will not be returning, service was awesome but they need to hire someone to train these chefs. Please for the love of god change the pepperoni. (Taste like the pepperoni I’d have with lunchables as a toddler).

My Linguine with Pink Sauce was tasty. I also added a side of sauteed broccoli to be added to the dish. Got to have some veggies. We ordered a house salad which was just right to share. We had rolls and an oil for dipping that had a touch of sweetness to it. It has us guessing about the ingredients. Our only disappointment was that the rolls were not warm or crispy. Good iced tea and an attentive server who was helpful and friendly. We will be back Mamma Mia.

We had wedding guests staying at The Courtyard Hotel in MacGregor Village. We ordered several pizzas and a small catering size chopped salad. Oh my gosh people couldn’t stop raving about both. Their pizza is always made to order, fresh toppings and cooked to perfection. Their chopped salad is always one of my favorites. Guests loved it too! Thank you Mamma Mia, Apex!

I went for lunch and had a great experience! The food is absolutely delicious and they have good lunch specials. I got a giant slice of pizza and salad and drink for $11. The staff was also so friendly!

Delicious food and friendly atmosphere every time! The complimentary bread basket came hot from the oven with a small bowl of oil, vinegar, and herbs for dipping. The salad was good, had slices of tomato and cucumber, and chunks of bleu cheese with the bleu cheese dressing. The Clams Prosillipo had over a dozen Clams in a light broth with tomatoes, garlic, and herbs.

From the minute I walked into the door, the family atmosphere hit me like a wave. The people that manage this place of the highest quality and the food matches it. I had a stromboli which I usually avoid because they turn out gummy and nasty. This place was a complete opposite. The bite of fresh garlic in the crust. The salty nuttiness of the mozzarella, the quality of the pepperoni and thin sliced sausage. Everything deserves the chefs kiss. This restaurant is an hour and a half away from my home in Greenville but well worth it several times over. I will definitely be back.

We heard great reviews and thought we finally found a Authentic Classy Italian Restaurant… WRONG! It is sad that it was nothing special and expensive for what we got. Biggest dissapointment ever!
We got seated in a booth next to a table of 6 with a patron super loud, we then get our dipping bread in a “paper bag” really? Ordered the zucchini fritti and it was over fried, we ordered Chicken Francese and Chicken Parmesan both with Capellini, the Francese got delivered with linguini. Had to reorder the pasta ugh! I asked for the sauce to be on the side for the Chicken Parm and the waiter reported that the Kitchen cannot honor that request (no class), never have I been treated like that. We drove 23 miles one way to have Chicken parm about 5 1/2 inches in diameter for $19.00 (I can get a Costco 5 lb Roaster for $4.95 , and yes there was cost associated in preparing it). Well let it be known NOT PLANNING IN GOING AGAIN.

The bread alone gives this place 5 stars! It’s cute restaurant with very attentive and wonderful service. It can accommodate large parties and small groups. The provide delicious bread rolls and dipping oil to start. We also tried the garlic knots and were pleasantly surprised at the quantity we got for the money. The portions are generous! We also tried the “Pasta Your Way” where you pick which noodle and sauce you want. We got the spaghetti bolognese and linguini carbonara. Will definitely be back!
