Came in to buy boneless chicken breast on sale for 1.99 a lbs like the ad said showed no limit on quantity drive 30 min from out of town to buy chicken I get here they say there is a ten pound limit but didn’t say that in the ad false advertisement I’m am now on my way to hy-vee where there is a helpfull smile in every aisle

Everything is grossly overpriced. They are charging double what every other store is charging for the same product. I can’t believe this is Fareway now. I worked at Fareway when I was younger and the pricing was never like this. In fact people preferred to shop at Fareway because of the reasonable prices. Now I feel like they’re just worried about their pocket books or trying to push certain people out so they can cater to a certain demographic. I used to be proud to say I worked at Fareway but how they’re doing people now I feel ashamed.

A little crazy after check out. They took my cart put it away and just went on about their business. So I went to retrieve my cart again put my groceries in my cart and was almost to my car when someone came up behind me and said I’ll help you with that. No one in the store said anything to me at all. It was awkward. A little rude of cashier. But bakery GREAT tho!!!

The reality is if you are lucky enough to get their fresh baked/fried donuts you are indeed 1 happy person. If I was pregnant I’d probably crave these croissant shaped bits of heaven.

The service is always polite. Alot of selections to chose from in the meat department, just wish they would show them how to properly wrap the meat for longer storage and make the DATE printed LARGER!

As per their reputation, the meat counter is great, it’s the draw to get me there. Prices and cuts are great, the customer service is great. The issue that I seem to have is that the rest of the store is lacking in variety. I can get most of what I need, but not all. And if I need any non food items like toiletries or anything like that, they are quite expensive while being quite limited as well. I want to like the store more. The other issue is that it’s not open Sundays and I tend to shop on Sundays, so that’s a problem.

The guys in the Deli was very helpful and nice. I came in to order two of the Meat Bundles packages numbers 3 &4. When I told them the number 4 was for my fur-babies , they was shocked ☺️I then explained that my fur-babies has been on a raw meat, fresh veggies and fresh fruits for years. One guys said they must be spoiled. And I replied and told yes guys my fur-babies Mocha Queenie and Max eat nothing but the best. They were so kind and generous packing up everything. And I appreciate how they packed up my other package in sets of two’s. This will be my main store now Fairway in Fort Dodge. To shop for all of their Steaks especially. Thank you all for your help.

The staff there are always very nice and very helpful. Their meat counter is THE best , it is the only place i will purchase any meat products, not to mention how polite and quick to help their butchers are. They have also a wonderful bakery, it may be small , but delicious treats! Guaranteed quality all around. Their prices are a bit higher but it is worth it sometimes for great service.
