Their food is pretty decent for the most part.However, just make sure you have your entire order with you. Unfortunately, they don’t answer the phone, no matter how many times you call , which is very unfortunate. $40 is a lot to pay for to only get a portion of the order.

Came here with my boyfriend and his family, these two to three teens had no work ethic in the food industry. They had no fresh food, or fresh rice. The chicken was hard like a rock, and on top of that when i went to get a fork because mine broke cause my chicken was so hard they were sitting on the counters, where they serve food. and i told them if i were you, i would wipe that counter down. and i waited to see if they would, and never did. disappointed and disgusted.

I have ordered from Chinese Gourmet Express located in Mesilla Mall multiple times through the years. It’s been always a good experience til recently.
The hibiscus is one of my favorite drinks here, but lately it’s awful. Has a bitter taste.
These pictures were taken a month ago. I gave them 2 stars since I nearly swollen this metal piece as you can see in the picture.
They need to be careful not to contaminate food with foreign objects that can be dangerous.
I would have star them the lowest star but did not because of the portion size was more then decent. The food was good besides that mishap.

Was looking forward to trying someplace different while down here and I ordered kungpao chicken. What they gave me was teriyaki flavored vegetables. Not one piece of chicken in the serving. The pork ribs were 49% fat 49% cartridge and 2% meat. So basically I paid 15$ for a box of white rice. Ill just stick to panda my stomach is all messed up now too. I use to like this place a lot but now it’s getting bad with the food and costumer service. The lady that it’s always there she’s always rude, I’m assuming she’s the owner. I went today to my surprise the rice wasn’t fully cooked It was still hard and not just that I paid $22 dollars for two plates and they don’t fill the plate properly.

When I tell you great I mean great. The servers cook and register workers are amazing and genuine. As I was picking out my food I forgot to mention my peanut allergy but the kind working man had asked if I had a peanut allergy cause I wanted the kung pow chicken. The food is delicious and the plates are well filled. This is probably one of my favorite places to eat and affordable. 10 out of ten try it.

This Chinese Gourmet Express is excellent. The food is tasty/flavorful every time I have been to this restaurant and there is always plenty of options to choose from. Quick service. I’m being extremely picky, so my only knock is that the food wasn’t as hot as I’d prefer. Worth a try!

I love that their orange chicken doesn’t taste sweet. Like it’s probably supposed to. The bourbon chicken was successful with my picky eater daughter. Had fresh chow mein as well. There was a line when I arrived but they moved quickly. Satisfied my cravings. Thank you!
