Still, a great little shop with delicious food and fast, friendly service.
By the time I’m able to get to any bagel shop, it’s after 2pm and there’s never any everything bagels left.
I go there and they have them, still fresh and the ladies will always give me a few extra bagels.
Aside from the ladies there being kind and sweet, it’s always busy, they have a line if you get there early.
The service is excellent.
The selection of everything you could want in a deli is huge.
The customer area is very clean as well as the service area.
The salads are delish and fresh.
The prices are competitive with any other establishment, sometimes even less.
Best of all, the bagels are actually very good!
It can hold its own to any Jewish nosh/deli around!!!
5 stars may be the maximum but I definitely give them 10 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Check your food before you leave, Lesson learned.
Stars are just because the service was good.
Ordered a jalapeno spinach bagel not realizing while at the cash register that they were two separate bagel flavors. Cashier. who wasn’t a native English speaker, never corrected me. It wasn’t until after I ordered and had time to look around and saw the bagel signs again did I realize my mistake. I was fine with getting either or, so I never mentioned it again as it likely would have been tougher to explain.
Compared to the Bagel Bazaar of S. Plainfield, this place is cheaper on the eggs and slightly more expensive. They have a higher coffee price than the S. Plainfield one. Both use Law’s coffee. Eggs are thinner and less generous at this Piscataway location – got less Taylor ham here. Food prep is on the slow side.
